Ce projet de doctorat se concentre sur les défis uniques posés par les moteurs à hydrogène (H2-ICE) en matière d’émissions, en mettant l’accent sur la formation de particules et leur filtration. Le doctorant sera chargé de développer et d’évaluer des filtres à particules diesel (DPFs) adaptés aux moteurs à hydrogène. Ce travail alliera tests expérimentaux en laboratoire et en environnement moteur, ainsi que l’analyse de matériaux et d’émissions.
Tâches et responsabilités
* Vous devrez planifier et réaliser des travaux expérimentaux sur les émissions de particules et leur filtration dans les moteurs à hydrogène.
* Développement et application de méthodes de mesure avancées ainsi que d’analyse des performances des filtres.
* Participer activement aux activités de test en collaboration avec l’équipe de recherche de Scania.
* La rédaction de publications scientifiques est prévue dans le cadre de ce poste.
Profil recherché
Les candidats doivent posséder :
- Un diplôme de deuxième cycle (ex. : master en ingénierie chimique, ingénierie mécanique, physique appliquée, ou domaine similaire).
- Un intérêt marqué pour les moteurs à combustion, les émissions, et les technologies environnementales.
- Une expérience pratique en laboratoire ou dans des configurations expérimentales.
- De bonnes compétences analytiques et en résolution de problèmes.
- Une excellente maîtrise de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.

We are now recruiting a full-time PhD student at KTH Royal Institute of Technology to work on the development and testing of diesel particulate filters (DPFs) tailored for hydrogen combustion engines.The RoleThis PhD project focuses on understanding and addressing the unique emission challenges of hydrogen combustion engines (H2-ICE), with a particular focus on particulate formation and filtration. You will work on the development and evaluation of advanced diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and new particle measurement methods tailored to H2-ICE conditions. The work will combine experimental testing, both in laboratory and engine environments, with advanced material and emission analysis. The position is based at KTH and carried out in close collaboration with Scania, including hands-on testing at their facilities.Job ResponsibilitiesYou will plan and carry out experimental work related to particle emissions and filtration in hydrogen combustion engines, including lab and engine testing.
