Titre du poste : Pharmacist
Cette position est conditionnée par l’attribution d’un contrat. IHMS recherche un Pharmacien expérimenté pour gérer l’approvisionnement, la distribution et le suivi des médicaments, afin d’assurer un soin pharmaceutique efficace. Ce rôle implique de collaborer avec les professionnels de santé pour optimiser la gestion des médicaments et promouvoir le bien-être des patients.
Responsabilités clés
- Gestion quotidienne : Opérer le système de livraison des médicaments et garantir leur intégrité et leur stockage adéquat.
- Qualité des soins : Participer aux activités d’assurance qualité pour maintenir des soins de qualité et une gestion économique des médicaments.
- Documentation : Tenir à jour les registres d’achats et de distribution pour les médicaments.
- Pharmacologie centrée sur le patient : Fournir des soins pharmaceutiques personnalisés et orientés vers les résultats.
- Collaboration : Travailler avec les patients et les professionnels de santé pour prévenir les maladies et assurer des traitements médicamenteux sûrs.
- Dispensation des médicaments : Gérer les prescriptions à travers le réseau de pharmacies désigné.
Qualifications requises
Conditions de base :
- Licence en pharmacie valide dans l’État, le District de Columbia, le Commonwealth de Porto Rico ou un territoire des États-Unis.
- Certification de Réanimation Cardio-Pulmonaire (BLS) par l’American Heart Association.
- Formation en premiers secours de base.
Éducation :
- Doctorat en pharmacie reconnu par le Conseil d’Accréditation des Écoles de Pharmacie (ACPE) ou corps équivalent.
- Ou trois années d’éducation graduate menant à un diplôme de niveau doctoral.
Exigences physiques
- Capacité à marcher sans aide et à maintenir l’équilibre, tout en étant apte à des efforts physiques tels que soulever des objets de plus de 30 livres.
- Être capable d’interagir dans des environnements stressants et souvent difficiles.
- Compétence en télécommunication et en informatique pour des périodes prolongées.
Autres qualifications spéciales
- Avoir au minimum 21 ans.
- Résider physiquement dans les États-Unis continentaux.
- Passer un examen médical et une enquête de sécurité approfondie.
- La maîtrise de l’espagnol est un atout.

This role includes collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize medication management, provide drug information, and contribute to the overall health and well-being of the patient population.Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the medication delivery system and assures that the integrity of all medications is maintained and is properly stored.
- Responsible for participating in quality assurance activities regarding medications to maintain quality patient care and cost-effective medication management.
- Responsible for the records and reports related to the purchase, receipt and disposition of drugs and related supplies.
- Responsible for the delivery of pharmaceutical care including patient centered, outcomes-orientated pharmacy practice.
- Work in concert with the patient and other healthcare providers to promote health; prevent disease; and assess, monitor, initiate and modify medication use to ensure that drug therapy regimens are safe and effective.
- Dispense formulary medications.
- Prescriptions are filled at local pharmacies which are part of the Script Care Network (or other designated Pharmacy Benefits Manager).

- Current and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Trained in Basic First Aid.
- Employees shall have at least one year of general experience that demonstrates the following:
- The ability to greet and deal tactfully with the public.
- Capability of understanding and applying written and verbal orders, rules, and regulations. All personnel shall be literate and be able to interpret printed rules and regulations, detailed written orders, training instructions and materials, and must be able to compose reports.
- Good judgment, courage, alertness, an even temperament, and render satisfactory performance through knowledge of his/her position responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain poise and self-control during situations that involve mental stress, such as fires, explosions, civil disturbances, and building evacuations.
Education Required:
- A doctoral degree in Pharmacy that is recognized by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained. OR
- Three (3) years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree, Ph.D., Pharm.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
Physical Requirements:
- This position is considered hazardous duty.
- Required to walk unaided at a normal pace for up to 5 minutes and maintain balance.
- Required to jog/fast walk up to ¼ mile.
- Requires physical exertion such as lifting objects greater than 30 pounds.
- Required to perform CPR/emergency care standing or kneeling.
- Must have the ability to assist sick, injured, or aging patients or staff exiting the building (may require lifting, dragging, wheeling, or carrying someone who weighs significantly more than self).
- Must be able to see, hear and smell with aids if necessary.
- Must be able to lift, push, or carry 30 pounds.
- Must perform the duties of my job in a stressful and often austere environment without physical limitations.
- Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time.
- Average manual dexterity for computer operation.
- Phone or computer use for extended periods of time.
Other Special Qualifications:
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must maintain current/physical residency in the continental U.S.
- Pass a medical examination conducted by a licensed physician within 30 days prior to initial assignment.
- Be a U.S. citizen or a person lawfully admitted into the U.S. for permanent residence.
- Have resided in the U.S. for the last five years (unless abroad on official U.S. government duty).
- Successfully engage in and complete a thorough Background Investigation.
- Poses or have ability to obtain required security clearances.
- Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
Additional InformationPay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
