Description du poste : Offer DescriptionThe post-doctoral fellow (PD) will be based at the University of São Paulo’s School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities (EACH-USP) in São Paulo city (Brazil) and will be responsible for developing multi-criteria analyses to select climate adaptation and resilience measures; conducting participatory research with the local population; and developing a participatory system of climate justice indicators adapted for citizen monitoring.Requirements:– PhD in Applied Social Sciences (Business Administration, Public Administration, Urban Planning, Economics); Engineering; Humanities (Geography, Political Science); Environmental Sciences.– Advanced level of English;– Academic publications in the last five years (peer-reviewed journals);– Full-time dedication to research;– Ability to communicate and disseminate scientific information;– Knowledge/experience in Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCDA), mathematical modeling and indicator development;– Work at the host institution (EACH-USP), with fieldwork in São Vicente (São Paulo state) – on-site regime.The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 12,000.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity (more at ).Applications:Email ( cc’d) indicating “COOPCLIMA – PD scholarship” in the subject line.
