L’université technique danoise DTU recherche un Postdoctorant motivé pour travailler sur les roulements magnétiques actifs dans le cadre d’applications maritimes, en mettant l’accent sur la modélisation multiphysique et l’expérimentation.
Description du Poste
Cette position s’inscrit au sein du projet **MARPOWER**, qui vise à concevoir et tester une **turbine à gaz** capable d’utiliser des carburants durables pour la production d’électricité dans le secteur maritime. Le consortium MARPOWER, composé de 11 entités de six pays européens, s’engage vers l’excellence et l’innovation.
Responsabilités Principales :
- Développer des modèles mathématiques multiphysiques des roulements magnétiques pour prédire leurs performances.
- Planifier, concevoir et réaliser des expériences en laboratoire.
- Effectuer l’acquisition de données et le traitement des signaux.
- Collaborer avec des partenaires académiques et industriels.
- Co-superviser des projets d’étudiants de BSc et MSc.
Qualifications Requises
Ce poste exige un solide bagage en ingénierie et une capacité à aborder des tâches théoriques, numériques et expérimentales. Les candidats doivent posséder :
- Compétences en modélisation numérique des roulements magnétiques et compréhension des principes d’électromagnétisme et de transfert de chaleur.
- Expérience en expérimentations en laboratoire et sur le terrain, notamment avec des turbines à gaz.
- Une expérience internationale est souhaitée.
- Une capacité à travailler de manière autonome tout en s’intégrant dans un groupe dynamique.
- Des compétences en communication, en anglais écrit et oral.
Formation : Doctorat en ingénierie mécanique ou équivalent.
Conditions de Travail

Rémunération : Conforme à la convention collective avec la Confédération danoise des syndicats professionnels. La durée du contrat est de 3 ans.

You will be part of the MARPOWER project funded by the which aims to design and test a gas turbine capable of running on sustainable fuels for power generation in maritime applications. The MARPOWER consortium is a collaborative effort designed to leverage the expertise of various stakeholders in the maritime transport value chain. Comprising 11 entities from six European countries (Finland, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain), the partnership is established based on principles of excellence, commitment, and the capacity to achieve project objectives.Your focus will be on helping with the design of magnetic bearings considering the challenges imposed by the fact that the turbine will not be stationary. It means a good background in Rotordynamics and Experimental Mechanics, especially with magnetic bearings is fundamental. Your primary tasks will be to:
- Develop multiphysical mathematical models of magnetic bearings to predict their performance, considering electromagnetism, heat transfer, rotordynamics, and control theory.
- Plan, design, and carry out laboratory experiments
- Perform data acquisition and signal processing
- Collaborate and communicate with both academic and industrial partners
- Co-supervise BSc and MSc student projects
Qualifications
Because of the multidisciplinary nature of the project, you are expected to possess strong fundamental engineering competencies. You must be able to handle theoretical, numerical, as well as experimental tasks. As a candidate, you are expected to have:
- Knowledge and experience with numerical and mathematical modeling of magnetic bearings and electromagnetism, heat transfer and control theory
- Knowledge and/or experience with laboratory, field experiments and gas turbines
- International experience is preferred
- Ability to work independently, to plan and carry out complicated tasks and to be a part of a large dynamic group,
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken are required
As a formal qualification, you must hold a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).We offer
