Description du poste : Offer DescriptionJob positionPhD felloship in the development of gold compounds for the selective arylation of selenocysteine residues in GPx4Objective: Participation in the research line focused on the development of innovative gold-based metallic compounds for the selective arylation of selenocysteine residues in selenoproteins such as GPx4, with applications in cell biology and redox-based therapies.Functions: Synthesis and characterization of gold compounds.
Studies of interaction with selenoproteins (biochemical and biophysical assays).
Cellular assays to study the effect of arylation on GPx4 function.
Use of LC-MS techniques to evaluate the formation of adducts and reaction products with selenopeptides and selenoenzymes.
Participation in the writing of scientific articles and presentations at conferences.Job position requirements (skills/languages/required experience)

• Studies: Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related fields + related Master’s degree (Mandatory)
• IT skills: Knowledge of office automation and experimental data management (Mandatory)
• Languages: English language for communication within the group and for scientific communication (Mandatory)
• Work experience: Experience in a bioinorganic or organometallic chemistry laboratory (Valuable
• Critical analysis skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary, multi-cultural a team (Mandatory)
