L’Opportunité
En tant que **Principal Software Engineer II**, vous serez chargé de la conception, du développement et des orientations stratégiques des principales capacités de la plateforme, telles que les **APIs**, la **facturation**, et les **règlements**. Ce poste, qui allie leadership technique et participation pratique à l’ingénierie, vous permettra d’influencer l’architecture, la culture d’ingénierie et les pratiques de livraison. Responsabilités Principales
- Fournir un leadership technique aux équipes produits, en définissant la direction et en appliquant les meilleures pratiques.
- Concevoir et implémenter des **applications** et **APIs** évolutives et performantes.
- Participer aux activités de codage, en alignant les priorités sur la feuille de route (jusqu’à 50% du temps).
- Définir et faire évoluer les normes techniques, les principes architecturaux et les patterns réutilisables.
- Gérer la feuille de route technique de votre domaine, en l’alignant sur la stratégie business.
- Contribuer à la documentation interne et aux initiatives de partage de connaissances.
- Évaluer et recommander de nouvelles technologies tout en influençant les décisions clés.
- Favoriser la collaboration entre les équipes d’ingénierie, d’architecture et de direction.
- Encadrer et former les ingénieurs logiciels pour améliorer les compétences et la qualité de livraison.
Profil Recherché
Compétences et Expériences :
- Plus de 10 ans d’expérience en ingénierie logicielle, avec une expertise en conception et en codage sous **.NET**, **Java** ou langages similaires.
- Expérience approfondie des plateformes **SaaS**, des **API** publiques et de l’architecture des systèmes distribués.
- Solide connaissance des bases de données, de la mise en cache, de l’intégration des systèmes et de l’optimisation des performances.
- Une expérience dans le traitement des paiements ou les services financiers est fortement appréciée.
- Capacité avérée à traduire des exigences commerciales complexes en solutions techniques évolutives.
- Leadership démontré dans l’architecture d’entreprise et la stratégie technologique inter-fonctionnelle.
- Aisance à travailler dans un environnement en forte croissance et en constante évolution.
- Excellentes compétences en communication, capable d’interagir efficacement avec divers interlocuteurs, tant techniques que non techniques.

This role is fully remote, offering you flexibility while working alongside a passionate, pragmatic, and forward-thinking engineering team.The Opportunity:As a Principal Software Engineer II, you’ll lead the design, development, and strategic direction of key platform capabilities-such as APIs, Billing, Settlement, and more. This is a hands-on technical leadership role with significant influence across architecture, engineering culture, and delivery practices. You’ll guide feature teams, set standards, and participate in delivering real-world solutions that serve thousands of merchants across the country.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, values technical excellence, and enjoys mentoring teams to build solutions that scale.What You’ll Be Doing:Provide technical leadership across multiple product teams, setting direction and enforcing best practices
Design and implement scalable, high-performance applications and APIs
Participate in hands-on coding activities aligned with roadmap priorities (up to 50%)
Define and evolve technical standards, architecture principles, and reusable patterns
Own the technical roadmap for your domain, aligning it with business strategy
Contribute to and maintain internal documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives

Strong background in databases, caching, systems integration, and performance optimisation
Experience in payment processing or financial services is a significant plus
Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Demonstrated leadership in enterprise architecture and cross-functional tech strategy
