As a Product Costing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing production accounting including SAP processes affecting the unit costs such minimum internal controls. You will collaborate with the line of business at the ET’s tablet production site in Denmark and with the finance teams across the full area (including sites in the U.S. and Ireland). You will work closely with a Senior Production Finance Partner in the team as well as the wider Business Finance team. You will have the following responsibilities within production accounting:

  • Driving the planning and reporting of raw material consumption, raw material deviations and inventory.
  • Ensuring that product costing, unit cost and associated processes are met with high quality, including that cost allocations across ET reflect the business activity.
  • Acting as a trusted business partner for production accounting-related activities.
  • Upholding financial compliance and ensuring house in order by aligning accounting treatment and cost classifications with the global finance team.
  • Taking ownership of the complete SAP standard costing model, focusing on finance master data, budgeting, actual costs, and ensuring accurate allocations across the full ET area.

The position is based in Taastrup.QualificationsTo succeed in this role, we imagine you are a subject matter expert in topics related to production finance and:

  • Hold a Master’s degree within Finance, Economics, Accounting or related discipline.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of SAP, particularly within production economy, master data, bill of materials and allocations.
  • Have extensive previous experience with production economy, including unit costs, inventory valuation, and standard cost variances, preferably in an environment with standard costing method.
  • Exhibit a process-oriented mindset, displaying interest in mapping, streamlining, and optimising processes .
  • Serve as a trusted business partner, demonstrating strong stakeholder management.
