Because we want to help salons find their dream clients and get them back more often and spending more.The OpportunityThe Product Release Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless and efficient delivery of software products and updates across the Phorest Product Suite. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, product managers and GTM (Go-To-Market) Marketing representatives, to facilitate the planning, scheduling and execution of releases. We ship frequently! This role will be responsible for streamlining these efforts, not slowing them down.What You’ll DoWork closely with the Product Development teams in your pillar(s) to understand release scope, timelines and dependencies.Ensure all release readiness activities adhere to established processes and quality standards.Work closely with the Product Development and Product Marketing teams to coordinate release schedules and communicate timelines to stakeholders.Serve as the primary point of contact for release-related inquiries and updates.Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on release objectives and priorities.Understand status from Product Development Initiative Reviews, translating into regular updates for non-technical business stakeholders, keeping them informed on release progress, including any deviations from the original plan.Work with Product Development Leadership to implement best practices and process enhancements to optimize the release management lifecycle.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, in terms of release readiness, within the Product Dev teams.Who You AreBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in project management or release management within a software development setting.Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate complex projects and initiatives.Solid organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple releases concurrently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to speak both technically and non-technically, adjusting to the audience as needed, to ensure alignment across the business.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including AgileExperience with release management tools and technologies, software versioning and release practices is preferred (e.g., Jira, Git.
