Ventia recrute actuellement un Project Engineer pour son équipe dédiée aux infrastructures de transport à Wellington. Ce poste est essentiel pour garantir la livraison sûre et efficace des travaux d’infrastructure sur le projet national du motorway Transmission Gully, fonctionnant 24/7.

Responsabilités Clés
- Planifier et réaliser des projets de travaux d’infrastructure en toute sécurité et dans les délais
- Collaborer avec les équipes O&M et Capital Works
- Préparer des packs de travail, gérer les sous-traitants et diriger des réunions de pré-démarrage
- Effectuer des audits de site, planifier la gestion du trafic et procéder à des contrôles de qualité
- Participer à un service d’astreinte
- Favoriser l’amélioration continue et le reporting aux clients
- Respecter les normes SHEQ et promouvoir une culture de sécurité
Profil Recherché
Pour exceller dans ce rôle, vous devez posséder une solide expérience pratique en entretien et construction de pavés, avec un accent particulier sur le surfacing et l’asphalte. Vous détenez un diplôme d’ingénierie de type BE, NZCE ou équivalent, et êtes à l’aise avec les outils de MS Office pour soutenir votre travail de projet. Une excellente communication écrite et verbale est essentielle, avec une attention particulière à la sécurité et à la qualité. Un permis de conduire de classe 1 est requis, et un certificat d’inspecteur STMS est un atout.

- Plan and deliver capital works projects safely and on time
- Collaborate with O&M and Capital Works teams
- Prepare work packs, manage subcontractors, and lead pre-starts

ABOUT YOUTo thrive in this role, you’ll bring solid, hands-on experience in pavement maintenance and construction, with a strong background in surfacing and asphalt.You will hold a tertiary engineering qualification in either BE, NZCE, or similar, and you’re confident using MS office to support your project work.You’re a strong communicator – both written and verbal, with a clear focus on safety and quality.
