As a partner to all of the major automobile manufacturers, as well as key players in the aerospace and industrial sectors, we offer you many development opportunities.Your Key ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Office Professional to join our team at Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions (VLS). This role is critical in driving projects, processes or specific tasks in scope of the BD Specialty Business. This includes transitioning products to after serial business, obsolescence management, prognosis calculation as well as contributing to projects with strategic relevance.
- Manage the comprehensive process of transitioning products from OE Divisions to Division VLS
- Organizing meetings with project teams, moderating discussions, and creating decision-making documents
- Ensuring database maintenance through consistency checks and updating information
- Prepare detailed reports for management on status, challenges, and solutions. Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Collaborate with other functions, business units and internal stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvements by evaluating outcomes and implementing lessons learned into future projects.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 2-3 years` of experience in project management within the automotive, automotive aftermarket or related industries.
- Proven track record of leading projects with successful outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of project management methods and tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong solution-orientation and problem-solving capabilities.
- Fluent English, German would be beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to travel as needed
- Valid work permit for Czech Republic
