Description du poste : QA Automation Engineer – UI/API – Contract

• Join a high-performing Agile delivery team working on enterprise-grade solutions.
• This is a contract role (4 to 6 months, likely extension) based in central Auckland with hybrid work flexibility.
• You’ll work across the testing pyramid to ensure high-quality delivery using a modern tech stack and automation-first mindset.

In this role, you will:

• Drive automation across UI and API layers using Playwright and Selenium.
• Work across the full testing lifecycle using commercial and open-source tools.
• Build, run, and maintain automated test suites in Java, TypeScript, and C#.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines leveraging Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with business and engineering teams to translate requirements into test scenarios.
• Gain exposure to BrowserStack, mobile testing, Dynatrace, and Splunk for enhanced coverage and observability.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience with automation frameworks across UI, API, and integration testing.
• Proficiency in Java, TypeScript, and/or C#.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, and modern test frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Agile/DevOps delivery environments.
• Experience working with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and monitoring/logging tools like Splunk.
• Comfortable interpreting business requirements and converting them into test assets.
