This role involves developing and optimizing manual and automated tests, conducting thorough testing processes, and collaborating with team members to enhance automation practices. The position is integral to maintaining compliance with medical industry standards while driving innovation in diabetes management technologies.Responsibilities
- Coordinate with regional customer support offices to monitor on market issues that may be developing for our applications.
- Analyze and aggregate complaint trends and analytics data points to develop theories on technical root cause for issues.
- Monitor analytics and error reporting systems to triage and investigate developing on market issues.
- Monitor social media channels and tech forums, including Apple and Google updates to provide technical assistance to changes affecting ADC mobile apps.
- Have a deep technical understanding of mobile applications to be able to diagnose defects and triage issues.
- Test compatibility issues between the various different mobile operating systems, mobile devices and software application versions.
- Provide feedback to software development team for additional telemetry events that will aid future analytics and monitoring investigations.
- Perform exploratory testing, system level end to end testing, develop test datasets and execute automation scripts (to ensure application software releases are of high quality).
- Investigate and report unexpected events, issues or software bugs. Verify fixes.
- Perform root cause analysis for the software development lifecycle from issues that were discovered on market
- Provide feedback and suggest improvements to software development process incorporating issues that have been identified.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in a scientific, technical, or engineering discipline.
- 5 years’ experience in Software Testing and/or Software Quality Assurance.
- Experience in manual testing mobile applications
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Medical Device experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in an agile development environment preferred.
- Experience with embedded systems and integration testing with external systems preferred
- Cyber security, medical mobile applications or cloud computing experience preferred.
