As an integral part of the Argus Group, Argus ManuTech delivers top- notch manufacturing solutions and technical support to meet diverse client needs, setting new standards in the industry.ABOUT THE ROLEThis opportunity has arisen with the incumbent signalling they will be relocating overseas in September and the early recruitment process is aimed at ensuring a good handover is achieved. Sitting within the Manutech business but operating across the Group, this role is responsible for the ownership and leadership on all related Quality Assurance and Compliance activities.For the Quality and Compliance area, it’s been quite a journey over the last 4 years, with the acquisition and integration of the TE Connectivity business into the Argus Group resulting in a move to new modern manufacturing facilities and the implementation of a full Quality Management System (QSM) into the respective businesses. ISO9001 accreditation has been achieved, while accreditation of ISO13485 and AS9100 (Aerospace standard) are currently in progress. The team has grown to include a Quality Coordinator and a Quality Inspector.Coming into this role, we are looking for you to continue to drive and develop operational excellence via Quality and Compliance practices and initiatives. We are also looking for you to bring a commercial and strategic focus to the role, ensuring the QSM remains fit for purpose and relevant to Argus Groups clients and market sectors, adding value to the business. In addition to Manutech, you will work closely with the Heating and Cabling businesses, adding value by understanding Quality and Compliance requirements and issues not only for existing products and markets, but also for where there are opportunities for products to be adapted or introduced for existing and new market sectors.YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEWe are looking for you to have several of the following attributes and experience:

  • Ability to mix Operational and Strategic activities to ensure the QSM evolves with the business and remains fit for purpose that adds value.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to work effectively with key stakeholders including Internal, Client and Supplier.
  • Previous Quality management and lSO experience is essential, ideally within manufacturing and/or product development environments
  • Experience in Implementing, Maintaining and Evolving Quality and Compliance Systems and Processes.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Product Design, Engineering, Supply Chain and Corporate Services to embed a Quality and Compliance culture.
  • Understanding of engineering related Product Design and Development processes and associated Quality/Compliance accreditation requirements.
  • Understanding of production and manufacturing processes and techniques ie.(Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Proven experience providing detailed and accurate specifications and work.
