Agropur is looking for a Quality System Technologist! Based at our Bon-Conseil plant, this person will be a key player in achieving the company’s strategic objectives. The main mandate will be to maintain food safety and quality systems (HACCP-SQF) and client programs, as well as to conduct monitoring, validations, and/or verifications, and lead various audits associated with these programs.At Agropur, we invest in YOU:

• Compensation of $36.48;
• Day shift (8 AM to 4 PM);

What this role involves:Quality System Plant Manager

• Implement new standards.
• Maintain food safety and quality systems.
• Develop and validate control protocols.
• Monitor forms and work methods.

Audit and Action Plan Manager

• Manage external and internal audits.
• Prepare and conduct audits.
• Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.

HACCP Team Coordination

• Coordinate HACCP team activities.
• Update risk analyses and procedures.
• Provide monthly reports.

Inter-departmental Collaboration

• Suggest improvement ideas.
• Bring your quality expertise.

Food Safety Training Program

• Manage training programs.

Traceability and Specifications

• Ensure product compliance and traceability.
• Update documentation.
• Manage the traceability team.

Other Tasks

• Provide technical support.
• Work with managers and employees.
• Manage chemical product classification.

What you need to join our team:

• DEC from the Institute of Agri-Food Technology (ITA) or a Bachelor’s in Food Science and Technology or a DEC in Food Process and Quality Technology or a DEC in Dietetic Techniques;
• 2 to 3 years of experience in the food industry;
• Licenses/certificates: • SQF Certificate (Mandatory) • HACCP Certificate (Mandatory);
• Familiarity with HACCP, SQF principles and standards;
• Auditor and FSPCA Certificate (Optional);
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
• Bilingual (English-French).
