Description du poste : We are seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors specializing in Civil and MEP disciplines for major water distribution and pipeline projects across Oman. The successful candidates will play a key role in cost estimation, contract administration, variation management, and financial reporting to ensure the projects are completed on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:
For Quantity Surveyor (Civil):
Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents based on drawings and specifications.Evaluate subcontractor quotations and conduct cost comparisons.Monitor and control project budgets for civil works including trenching, pipe laying, concrete structures, road reinstatement, etc.Validate work progress and assist in the preparation of interim payment applications.Prepare and evaluate change orders, variations, and claims.Liaise with project engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve civil work issues.For Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEP):
Manage all MEP-related cost control activities, especially for water pump stations, mechanical piping, valves, chlorination systems, electrical panels, and SCADA systems.Review and validate MEP subcontractor payment applications and variation submissions.Lead value engineering processes and provide cost-saving solutions without compromising performance or safety.Ensure compliance with Omani standards and international best practices.Interface with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate scope and budgeting.Report on project financials including forecasting and risk analysis.SKC Management is recruiting from India for this position and prefers Indian candidates to apply for this role.
