Description du poste : Job Category: Pure ResearchDegree Level: Doctor’s Degree (e.g PhD)Job Description:We are now looking for a Radio Research Engineer/Scientist in the dual-use area for cellular communications to join our team in Espoo, Finland. We are conducting research on radio systems here at Bell Labs Finland located in the Nokia global headquarters. You’ll get to innovate and develop new concepts and methods for radio systems as part of our multidisciplinary and diverse team.Responsibilities:As part of our team, you will:
- Innovate and develop new concepts and methods for radio systems
- Enhance Nokia’s competitiveness through groundbreaking research and protecting it via patents
- Be part of an enthusiastic and interdisciplinary research team
- Prove the value of your research and publish it via high quality research in top conferences and journals
- Network and collaborate with other teams and business units as well as the ecosystem outside the company
Qualifications:You have:
- M.Sc. or preferably a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or another field from which to build to these directions – like Physics or Mathematics
- Knowledge of research, signal processing, linear algebra, optimization theory and/or radio physical layer
- Awareness of the 5G NR system and/or ongoing 6G systems research
- Ability to continuously learn, update and adapt yourself due to the continuously evolving research area and customer needs
- Capacity to propose new directions for research
- Communication and presentation skills
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience with wireless communications/ defense communications/ dual-use communications
- Experience with designing and developing precoding and combining algorithms for massive MIMO and knowledge of other array signal processing techniques
- Experience with Python and MATLAB
- Experience with wireless channel modeling and simulations
