We are committed to fostering excellence, innovation, belonging and community in all that we do.About the RoleThe Programs Manager is a senior manager accountable for the success of several entrepreneurial and social innovation education programs within the RADIUS Programming portfolio. This role is core to RADIUS’ work of “venturing in service of systems change” and the Incubation Programs Manager will directly lead the delivery of 2-3 signature programs annually, while training and managing additional program delivery staff, Entrepreneurs-In-Residence, and other contractors as required for additional programs. Furthermore, they will oversee the development of all entrepreneurial education curriculum and mentorship networks across programs, manage the RADIUS Investment Fund, and ensure a strong presence for RADIUS in the broader social venture ecosystem. A successful Incubation Programs Manager will be proactive in understanding and applying a justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion framework into all aspects of their scope of work.QualificationsMaster’s degree in a related field (i.e., Education, Business, or commensurate) and three years of related experience including: teaching and curriculum development; venture incubator/accelerator experience; professional experience in an entrepreneurial context; experience having launched their own innovative or entrepreneurial project or venture; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Understanding of anti-discrimination (i.e., anti-racism, anti-homophobia, anti-transphobia, anti-ableism, classism, misogyny), equity, and inclusion in the context of social innovation.
- Demonstrated skills in implementing and advancing justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) framework to program design, delivery, recruitment, and evaluation.
- Knowledge of core frameworks in entrepreneurial development, such as human-centred design, sprint planning, lean start-up, business model development, startup financing and more.
- Proven ability to engage cohorts for individual and collective development.
- Knowledge of impact investing and investment approaches and protocols.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer/tech skills, with the ability to quickly learn new platforms (e.g., Asana, Slack, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Consultative and team oriented.
