Description générale : Le Technicien Réglementaire au sein de Beyondsoft est chargé de mener des tests pour les programmes de NPI (New Product Introduction) et CPE (Current Product Engineering). Ces tests portent sur la compatibilité électromagnétique (EMC), ainsi que sur des critères environnementaux, mécaniques et électriques pour garantir la robustesse du design des nouveaux produits.

Responsabilités Clés

• Tests techniques : Mener des évaluations sur la robustesse des nouvelles conceptions, incluant la compatibilité électromagnétique et d’autres critères requis.
• Gestion des priorités : Établir les priorités des demandes de tests en fonction des ressources disponibles.
• Support technique : Soutenir les outils, processus et systèmes du laboratoire d’essai.
• Coordination : Faciliter la mise en place des tests avec des fournisseurs extérieurs pour garantir un fonctionnement optimal.
• Maintenance et mise à jour : Réparer et mettre à jour le matériel et le firmware des dispositifs grand public, le cas échéant.
• Formation : Former des tiers afin d’assurer le respect des protocoles d’essai.
• Documentation : Assurer un suivi rigoureux des résultats de tests et des retours aux ingénieurs concernés.
• Flexibilité : Être capable de passer d’un projet à un autre tout en maintenant l’efficacité des tests.

Qualifications Requises

• Niveau d’études : Diplôme en ingénierie électrique, électronique, mécanique ou informatique.
• Expérience : Minimum de 4 ans d’expérience en tant que technicien électrique, incluant une expertise en EMC.
• Compétences informatiques : Excellente maîtrise de l’installation de matériels et logiciels PC, ainsi que des outils de bureautique (MS Office).
• Équipement de test : Familiarité avec les équipements de test et de mesure, capacité à effectuer des travaux de soudure quand nécessaire.
• Compréhension technique : Capacité à interpréter des schémas et plans d’essai fournis par les ingénieurs.

📝 Description du poste : Job Description:

• Conduct tests for both NPI (New Product Introduction) & CPE (Current Product Engineering) programs . Test scope include EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), Environmental & Mechanical, Electrical & Connectivity tests in validating on new product design robustness
• Prioritization of all test requests should there be facility constraints to test support resources
• Supporting test lab tools, processes, systems & fixturing
• Coordinates and facilitates test setup with test vendors to ensure testing is up and running with respect to the appropriate infrastructure, processes, customized fixturing, and test tools/systems/test & measurement equipment.
• To rework, repair and upgrade various firmware and hardware in consumer device that may stop running. And to support R&D on rework if necessary
• Modify test plans and updates test schedule when needed
• Implement test plans according to specific guidelines and procedures & project assignments with limited supervision
• Required to assist in the training of 3rd party test houses and ensure they are following test plans, guidelines, processes and procedures
• Oversees & lab operation & execution & escalate to HW Engineer for any deficiencies, delay and bottlenecks
• Provide feedback directly to HW Engineers for any test discrepancies, suggest improvements.
• Document and report test results, dashboard & test progress based on pre-aligned report frequency. With predetermined spreadsheet or applicable database and release them to the required stakeholder communities and follow up issues for understanding and fixing them.
• Should be flexible to project assignments and being able to float from one project to another maintaining test efficiency
• Ensure proper and timely report documentation, and archiving upon test completion
• Work with engineers and vendor logistics on transportation, storage & disposal of testing samples & consumables within or outside test vendor premises, in accordance to security guidelines
• To ensure instruments are calibrated and verified on a regular basis

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Computer, or IT Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience as Electrical Technician with experience in include EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility)
• Good proficiency with PC hardware and software installation, including Windows and MS Office (Excel, Pivot Table, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Familiar with test and measurement equipment, with good soldering skills for board rework when requested
• Ability to understand, comprehend, and provide feedback on EE schematics, drawings, and written EE test plans provided by Engineers
