Some of our largest customers are household names in grocery, pharmaceutical, and parcel delivery, and in the e-commerce online shopping businesses.As a company we take pride in offering our employees a safe and rewarding work environment in which to develop their careers.Tasks and Qualifications:We want you !This position has the following key responsibilities:Learn from our experienced technicians how to diagnose faults and perform repairs to electrical devices used within warehouse and distribution centre environments – including handheld terminals/computers, vehicle mounted computers, bar code scanners, RF terminals and headsetsCompleting repairs, testing and configuration of the devices within the required time frameReceiving and dispatching electronic devices from and to customersUpdating receiving/repair/dispatch details in the shopfloor IT system (training will be provided)Completing accurate documentation of the required repairsComplying with the Repair Centre procedures and following safe work practicesWhat We Are Looking ForSuccessful candidates will possess the following skills & experience:Higher School Certificate (or equivalent)Have a passion for electronics and mobile devices / equipment and computer devices repair is ideal – training will be providedExperience in repair of electronics/computer devices is an advantageAble to receive, repair and dispatch electronic devicesAble to learn, understand and use a shopfloor IT system to receive/repair/dispatch units in a repair environmentGood organisational skills and ability to work towards tight deadlinesGood written and verbal communication skillsCustomer service mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environmentEager and willing to learnWhat can we offer you?Dematic has the soul of a start-up with a culture that ensures every person can be themselves, make an impact, and have a harmonized work-life balance.
