Description du poste : We are looking for a proactive individual with experience in SQL who is willing to work in a dynamic working environment with the business to understand and develop reports.As a Junior Report Developer, you will create and maintain reports to meet the information needs of individual user and departments. Report developers compile massive amounts of data on an enterprise level to filter out unnecessary information and provide insight into business operations.Those capable with SQL and PostgreSQL tend to be well suited for this position, along with excellent soft skills like communication to reach consensus with colleagues more quickly.A degree isn’t mandatory, but increases a candidate’s employment prospects as well as experience on IT companies working with reports. In addition to this, experience on developing reports on Jaspersoft Studio is a plus.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Developing and modifying reports in accordance with standards and methodologies
- Documenting and resolving report and data requests via Jira and Help Desk tickets.
- Designing and developing database reports with tools like Jasper Studio.
- Following the collection and validation of requirements, develop SQL scripts and generate reports to deliver requested data to clients.
- Complete projects in a timely and efficient manner
Required Education & Skills:
- 2+ years’ of working knowledge of relational database experience (PostgresSQL, Oracle, etc.)
- In-depth experience on writing SQL queries, including the ability to understand complex data schemas and join structures to write queries that perform efficiently
- Working knowledge of Jaspersoft Studio in complex reports
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience will be valued
- English working knowledge: verbal and written communication is mandatory
- Experience using Jira and Confluence is preferred
- Excellent teamwork skills, strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills
- Excellent communication, written and collaboration skills
- Desire to stay current with technology and a willingness to learn
