Aarhus Universitet propose une opportunité pour un assistant de recherche impliqué dans un projet dynamique visant à explorer les fondements sociaux et politiques de la transition verte de l’agriculture et de la production alimentaire. Dans un environnement multiculturel et évolutif, ce poste permet de développer des compétences tout en collaborant étroitement avec des chercheurs, des parties prenantes et des agriculteurs.

Vous intégrerez la section « Agriculture et Durabilité », où l’accent est mis sur l’analyse qualitative et quantitative pour faire avancer des projets tant nationaux qu’internationaux. Parmi les domaines explorés figurent la restauration des terres, le développement de modèles commerciaux durables et la gestion des paysages intègre les perspectives des parties prenantes. L’objectif principal est de conseiller les décideurs à différents niveaux en identifiant les opportunités et les obstacles à la transition verte.

Principales Responsabilités

Les principales tâches comprennent :

• Planification de l’acquisition de données auprès des exploitations agricoles privées
• Analyse et revue de la littérature scientifique et non scientifique
• Réalisation d’entretiens, de groupes de discussion et d’enquêtes avec des agriculteurs biologiques et conventionnels
• Traitement et analyse des données – une expérience en méthodes qualitatives et quantitatives est un atout
• Diffusion des résultats à l’écrit et à l’oral
• Enseignement éventuellement dans des cours de niveau bachelor et master

Qualifications Requises

Le candidat idéal possède :

• Une formation pertinente de niveau Master, en sociologie, anthropologie, géographie ou sciences politiques, avec une spécialisation ou une connaissance de l’agriculture et de la production alimentaire.
• Une maîtrise du danois et un excellent niveau d’anglais, la communication étant principalement en anglais dans ce cadre international.
• Un engagement à contribuer à un environnement de travail positif et inclusif.

Date de début : Le poste est à pourvoir pour une durée de 12 mois à partir du 1er octobre 2025 ou dès que possible après cette date.
Lieu de travail : Département d’Agriculture et Écologie, Campus Viborg, Blichers Alle 20, 8830 Tjele, à l’Université d’Aarhus.

We can offer a challenging and diverse position in an evolving and multicultural environment, where you can develop your skills in close collaboration with researchers, stakeholders, and farmers.JobdescriptionYou will be employed in the section for Agriculture and Sustainability, where we are engaged in a series of national and international projects investigating the foundations for developing future sustainable food production through land restoration, development of sustainable business models as well as improving the integration of stakeholders’ perspectives on landscape management. We work with systems analysis based on qualitative and quantitative data, case studies and comparative studies of different initiatives, policies and strategies across countries in Europe. An important goal for this work is to advise decision-makers at local, national and international level about the opportunities and barriers for advancing the green transition through the implementation of new production technologies, regulatory initiatives and decision-support tools.Your primary tasks will include:

• Planning data acquisition on private farms
• Analysis and reviews of scientific and grey literature
• Completion of interviews, focus groups and surveys with organic and conventional farmers
• Data processing and analysis – (Experience with qualitative and quantitative methods is an advantage)
• Written and oral dissemination of results
• Optionally, teaching at bachelor and master level courses.

QualificationsYou have a relevant MSc background, e.g. in sociology, anthropology, geography or political science with a focus on, or knowledge of, agriculture and food production. You speak Danish fluently, and English on a high level. The working environment is international and much of the communication is English.
