Description du Poste
Ce rôle nouvellement créé est essentiel pour le soutien de l’équipe des Revenus dans divers projets, principalement l’intégration suite à une acquisition récente. Le candidat travaillera avec le logiciel Zuora Revenue, essentiel pour l’automatisation des revenus, ainsi qu’avec des outils d’analyse tels que PowerBI.
Responsabilités Clés
- Liasion avec l’équipe des Revenus pour les projets en cours.
- Identification d’améliorations et résolution de problèmes tout en garantissant la conformité technique des revenues.
- Établir un pont entre les départements Finance, IT et Business Intelligence.
- Documenter et examiner des cas de tests d’acceptation utilisateur.
- Gestion et réalisation des tests d’acceptation utilisateur.
- Collaborer sur la réconciliation des systèmes.
Compétences Requises
Compétences Essentielles :
- Expertise en comptabilité (Certification requise).
- Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience post-qualification.
- Expérience de projet, de préférence dans des projets d’implémentation/intégration.
- Communication claire et concise.
- Compétences en PowerBI et en Excel.
- Expérience avec Zuora Revenue ou un système similaire.
- Compréhension des normes IFRS pour la reconnaissance des revenus.
Compétences Souhaitables :
- Expérience avec SAP ou Salesforce.
- Connaissance des normes US GAAP.

Sophos is headquartered in Oxford, U.K. More information is available at www.sophos.com.This newly created role is a critical one and has been raised to provide key support for the Revenue team on the various projects that they are involved with, primarily the integration project following a recent acquisition. One of the key aspects to this will be understanding and working with Zuora Revenue, the Revenue automation software implemented as part of Sophos’ recent major transformation project for the Order to Cash process, and a PowerBI based reporting solution.This critical role is best suited to a qualified accountant who has significant experience and an interest in how accounting systems work. They should have experience of the Zuora Revenue system (or similar) and have a knack at speaking to both accountants, as well as IT, data and especially project teams. This individual will be a critical support for both the technical and accounting functions and will break down language barriers between teams. The individual should have a keen interest in understanding end-to-end transaction flows and transformation in a diversified systems stack.The candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to interact with a broad range of colleagues across multiple departments, preferably they will have experience on medium to large scale projects.Sophos strives to be best in class in our technical solutions, so this role will play a key part in driving technical system integrations and improvements whilst remaining Revenue Recognition compliant.The successful candidate will be someone who can speak on technical IT systems as well as technical accounting language and will likely be a bit of a spreadsheet/Power BI guru.This role will be reporting to the Director of Revenue Operations, and will work closely with the Senior Revenue Systems AccountantWhat Will You Do
- Key responsibilities include:
- Liaising and coordinating for the Revenue team on project/s
- Identifying improvements, enhancements and problem solving where issues are found, always ensuring technical revenue compliance
- Being a key bridge between Finance,IT,Business Intelligence and project teams
- Liaising with key colleagues for fact finding, requirements and review of technical solutions
- Documenting/Reviewing User Acceptance Test Cases
- Managing and performing User Acceptance Testing
- Review and improve current processes to increase efficiency and transparency of Revenue
- Documentation for key process changes or new processes
- Collaborate on/perform system reconciliations
What Will You Bring
- Essential
- Qualified accountant
- At least 3 years relevant post qualification experience
- Project experience, desirable if implementation/integration projects
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Must be comfortable with analysing large data sets to provide insight
- PowerBI and MS Excel skills
- Zuora Revenue/Zuora Billings (or similar system) experience
- Understanding of IFRS technical accounting for Revenue
- Desirable (but not essential)
- SAP experience
- Salesforce experience
- US GAAP technical accounting
