Description du poste : Job Title: Facility and Maintenance ManagerLocation: Cartier Japan Office, HanzomonMain PurposeThe Facility and Maintenance Manager leads the strategic development of Cartier boutiques in Japan. This role delivers operational excellence by aligning business objectives with project execution, applying deep technical knowledge, and facilitating effective collaboration across functions. The manager is responsible for development and standardization of the maintenance infrastructure for all boutiques across Japan, and lifecycle facility planning and long-term budget strategies, especially for freestanding properties, ensuring their enduring functionality and alignment with brand standards.Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full spectrum of boutique maintenance activities including interior, facility, and security systems.

– Lead facility lifecycle planning, with a long-term focus on freestanding properties and associated capital expenditure forecasting.
– Support new boutique openings and renovation projects by managing technical and operational scopes-especially related to facility and security systems.
– Resolve issues on complex, delicate, and bespoke furniture using in-depth technical understanding and craftsmanship sensitivity.
– Plan and manage workflows from project inception through boutique launch, ensuring operational readiness.
– Foster strong, long-term partnerships with contractors and guide them in meeting Maison’s exacting design, quality, and functional expectations.
– Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., retail, operation, security etc.) and external partners (e.g., architects, engineers) to ensure aligned project execution.
– Provide subject matter expertise to proactively identify and resolve complex project issues.
– Lead risk assessment and mitigation planning throughout all phases of development and maintenance.

Train and empower contractors and team members, enhancing project delivery and collaboration. Encourage a constructive, respectful, and high-performing work culture.Succession Planning & Change ManagementEstablish a succession plan and work with leadership to develop talent. Embrace change and actively contribute to the adoption of new tools, systems, and ways of working in the technical domain.Leadership ResponsibilitiesMentor junior staff and offer deep technical guidance to peers. Independently resolve task- and technology-specific issues. Lead by example and support team success by sharing best practices and driving problem-solving initiatives.Stakeholder ManagementManage internal and external stakeholder relationships with tact and professionalism.
