Responsabilités du Rôle
Le poste de Senior AIT Production & Verification System Engineer englobe un large éventail de responsabilités, notamment :
- Prise en charge de la satellite : Être l’interface clé entre l’ingénierie et la production lors de l’assemblage, de l’intégration et des tests (AIT).
- Contributions aux revues de conception : Participer activement aux revues comme la PDR, CDR et PRR pour assurer la conformité des exigences techniques.
- Définition des flux d’essai : Valider les flux de test à l’échelle du satellite, y compris les vérifications thermiques, fonctionnelles et électromagnétiques (EMC).
- Encadrement des interfaces : Réviser et guider la conception des interfaces entre les différents sous-systèmes.
- Soutien au processus de validation : Participer aux validations de configuration et aux vérifications finales avant le vol.
- Analyse des anomalies : Mener des enquêtes et des analyses des causes profondes des anomalies au niveau système.
- Documentation : Contribuer à la documentation essentielle du système, y compris les procédures et les bases de configuration.
- Support pratique : Être présent sur le terrain de production et soutenir les équipes d’intégration et de test.
Exigences du Poste
Pour réussir dans ce rôle, les candidats doivent démontrer un ensemble de compétences et d’expériences :
- Compréhension des systèmes satellitaires : Connaissance approfondie du fonctionnement des différents sous-systèmes.
- Formation en ingénierie : Un diplôme dans un domaine d’ingénierie, avec au moins 7 ans d’expérience dans l’industrie spatiale.
- Expérience en ingénierie système : Participation antérieure aux responsabilités de niveau système.
- Expertise dans les tests : Connaissance solide des méthodes de vérification des systèmes.
- Résolution de problèmes : Compétences pour résoudre des problèmes complexes liant matériel, logiciel et intégration.

In this role, you’ll act as the key bridge between Engineering and Production, ensuring each satellite is manufacturable, testable, and mission-ready. You’ll be involved from the early design phase through production and delivery, making sure system-level requirements are realistic and that the final product meets performance, reliability, and quality expectations.As part of the role, you will own the integration and verification as a system, working on areas like thermal performance, harnessing architecture, EMC behavior, and end-to-end functionality. You’ll contribute to major design reviews (PDR, CDR, PRR), define system-level test flows, and help resolve cross-subsystem issues during production. Your work ensures every satellite ICEYE builds behaves as expected in orbit, and helps feed lessons learned back into the next generation of spacecraft.What will you do in this role?
- Be involved from the start of the project through the entire satellite generation lifecycle
- Own the satellite as a full system as an interface between engineering and production from early design through delivery
- Act as the main interface between Engineering and Production to ensure system-level readiness and integration
- Participate in design reviews (PDR, CDR, PRR) and ensure production needs are reflected in technical requirements
- Define and validate satellite-level test flows, including thermal, functional, and EMC verification
- Review and guide the design of interfaces between subsystems (mechanical, electrical, thermal, and SW)
- Support configuration validation, test readiness, and final system checkouts before flight
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for cross-subsystem or system-level anomalies
- Contribute to system-level documentation, including EIDPs, procedures, and configuration baselines
- Feed lessons learned and system-level insights back into engineering to improve future satellite generations
- Be present on the production floor, actively supporting integration and test teams with hands-on engagement
- Push toward high Manufacturing Readiness Levels (MRL), ensuring designs are scalable and production-ready
- Collaborate daily with teams across all subsystems, reviewing interfaces and system interactions
RequirementsWhat will you need to be successful in this role?
- Satellite system understanding and experience
- An engineering background (specific discipline is flexible)
- 7+ years of experience in the space industry, ideally with direct satellite experience
- Prior systems engineering experience or involvement in system-level responsibilities
- Strong understanding of satellite systems and how different subsystems interact at the spacecraft level
- Some Hands-on experience in Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) of satellites or complex hardware systems
- Solid knowledge of system verification methods, including functional, environmental, and EMC testing
- Experience working with or across engineering and production teams in a fast-paced, high-reliability environment
- Familiarity with engineering design reviews (PDR, CDR) and production readiness reviews (PRR)
- Ability to define and track Manufacturing Readiness Levels (MRLs) and push toward production maturity
- Good grasp of configuration management and test documentation (EIDP, procedures, NCRs, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve system-level issues across hardware, software, and integration
