En tant que Senior Backend Software Engineer, vous serez un membre clé de l’équipe technique, sous la supervision du Directeur de l’Ingénierie. Votre rôle consistera à conceptualiser, construire et lancer de nouvelles fonctionnalités pour alimenter la plateforme financière innovante de Teylor.

Responsabilités Principales

Collaborer avec les leaders et les chefs de produit pour concevoir et déployer de nouvelles fonctionnalités.
Écrire un code backend robuste et bien testé, principalement en Go.
Développer, maintenir et améliorer la plateforme et les services financiers.
Construire des intégrations fluides avec les banques partenaires et divers systèmes financiers externes.
Assurer une qualité de code élevée grâce à des tests rigoureux et des revues de code.
Contribuer à la culture de l’ingénierie à distance de Teylor et à ses meilleures pratiques.
Participer à la stratégie architecturale et technique de l’entreprise.

Compétences et Qualifications Requises

Diplôme en informatique ou expérience équivalente en tant qu’ingénieur backend.
Plus de 2 ans d’expérience pratique en développement backend (4+ ans pour le niveau senior).
Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et verbale en anglais.
Capacités de résolution de problèmes stratégiques et approche proactive.
Maîtrise du langage Go ainsi que des bases de données relationnelles et SQL.
Compréhension solide de Git pour le contrôle de version.
Expérience dans des environnements de travail distribués et de collaboration à distance.

Compétences Appréciées

Expérience pratique avec les services cloud AWS et les architectures serverless.
Familiarité avec les pipelines de build modernes et les outils CI/CD.
Connaissance du développement Full Stack (React et TypeScript) et des enjeux de l’industrie FinTech.

The RoleThis is a fully remote position but you MUST be physically located within Europe (UTC-1 to UTC+3).As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Teylor AG, you will be a crucial member of our tech team, reporting to the Director of Engineering and collaborating closely with the CPTO. You’ll be instrumental in conceptualizing, building, and launching new features that power our innovative financial platform.What You’ll Be Doing:

Collaborate closely with leadership, product managers, and other team members to conceptualize, build, and launch new features.
Write production-grade, robust, and well-tested backend code primarily in Go.
Develop, maintain, and improve our core financial platform and services.
Build seamless integrations with our partner banks and various external financial systems.
Ensure high code quality through rigorous testing, peer code reviews, and automation.
Contribute actively to Teylor’s evolving remote engineering culture and best practices.
Contribute to our north star architecture and engineering strategy

What You’ll Need

A degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience as a Backend Engineer.
2+ (4+ for senior) years of hands-on backend development experience.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts.
Strong strategic problem-solving abilities and a proactive, independent approach with a can-do attitude.
Proven ability to be an excellent team player.
Experience working effectively in distributed setups, adhering to remote collaboration best practices.
Strong proficiency in GoLang.
Solid understanding of Git for version control.
Experience with relational databases and SQL, particularly Postgres.
A proactive « get things done » mentality.
A serious and disciplined work ethic, combined with a positive and collaborative spirit.
Experience in distributed setups and remote practices for collaboration

Nice to Have

Practical experience with AWS cloud services.
Experience with serverless/functions/lambda architectures and related technologies.
Familiarity with AWS APIs, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
Understanding of modern build pipelines and CI/CD tools such as Github Actions.
Previous experience working in remote teams and within small companies or startups.
Exposure to Full Stack development (React and TypeScript).
Knowledge of the Finance or FinTech industry.
