This ensures a thorough understanding of their capabilities and potential.✔️ Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using NodeJS and Hono framework
- Implement and optimize database solutions with PostgreSQL and Drizzle ORM
- Work with message broker systems, specifically Cloudflare Queues or similar
- Design and implement efficient data structures and algorithms to optimize application performance and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions
- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices
- Strong self-management and ability to take ownership of tasks
- Ability to identify issues early and act proactively
- English at an Intermediate level or higher
- Passionate about AI and stays up to date with related news
✔️ Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in NodeJS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with Hono framework or similar lightweight server frameworks
- Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL and Drizzle ORM, including data optimization techniques
- Deep understanding of relational database principles and performance optimization
- Experience with message queuing systems or a desire to gain expertise
- Ability to leverage AI-assisted coding tools like Roo or Cursor, etc
- Experience with real-time communication protocols (WebSockets, SSE) is a plus
- Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in backend development
- Experience with API design and implementation
- Familiarity with containerization and cloud infrastructure, or a willingness to learn
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
