En tant que (Senior) Clinical Pharmacology Scientific Director, vous jouerez un rôle crucial dans la définition des stratégies de pharmacologie clinique précoce. L’objectif principal de ce poste est de participer à la conception et à l’exécution des essais cliniques innovants, tout en collaborant avec des équipes pluridisciplinaires.
Responsabilités principales
- Développement stratégique : Concevoir des stratégies de développement clinique précoce et superviser la préparation de synopsis d’essai.
- Leadership d’équipe : Être membre actif des Global Project Teams et interagir avec des autorités sanitaires ainsi que des investigateurs.
- Analyse et rapport : Interpréter et rapporter les résultats des essais cliniques.
- Collaboration : Travailler avec de multiples parties prenantes, tant internes qu’externes, pour renforcer les compétences en pharmacologie clinique.
- Développement personnel : Profiter d’opportunités uniques pour approfondir vos compétences dans le développement précoce de médicaments.
Qualifications requises
Les candidats doivent posséder un Ph.D. en sciences de la vie ou un MD, accompagné d’une solide expérience en développement de médicaments. La maîtrise des aspects suivants est essentielle :
- Connaissances expertales : Compréhension approfondie de la pharmacologie clinique et du développement de médicament.
- Expérience pratique : Connaissance des essais cliniques, y compris les aspects de dosage et de pharmacocinétique/pharmacodynamique.
- Leadership : Compétences démontrées dans la gestion d’équipes pluridisciplinaires dans un environnement dynamique.
- Communication : Excellentes capacités d’expression en anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.

As a (Senior) Clinical Pharmacology Scientific Director, you will be responsible for and challenge the early clinical pharmacology strategies for projects. You will be involved in scientific strategies across different areas, be part of safety decision makings and represent early clinical development in cross-functional project teams.In the job you will:
- Be responsible for early clinical development strategies
- Be responsible for the design of first human dose and early clinical development trials and prepare trial synopses
- Be part of the Global Project Teams
- Interact with Health Authorities and investigators
- Be involved in interpretation and reporting of trial results
- Collaborate with many internal and external stakeholders
- Support development of scientific and clinical pharmacology competencies internally
- Have an excellent opportunity to increase your competencies within early drug development
- Contribute to the Early Clinical Development leadership team.
Qualifications
You hold a Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences and/or MD combined with experience in drug development and extensive knowledge within Clinical Pharmacology.To thrive and succeed in the role, we expect you to have:
- Expert knowledge within Clinical Pharmacology in drug development and a solid value chain understanding
- Solid experience in Early Clinical Development and in-depth understanding of clinical dosing aspects including first human dose setting and pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics.
- Experience in leading cross-functional global teams in a dynamic environment and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high-performing colleagues
- Experience with health authority interactions and experience in managing cross-functional global teams in a dynamic environment
- Proficient in spoken and written English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Early Clinical Development is an area in Research and Early Development. We are scientifically and operationally responsible for designing, planning and executing of first-in-human and other early clinical pharmacology trials in new and exciting areas across Novo Nordisk portfolio.The Early Clinical Development area consists of Clinical Pharmacology Specialists working closely together with a team of engaged and highly skilled Trial Managers, and Clinical Trial Administrators in a flexible, and cross-functional setting. We collaborate and share knowledge to benefit each other and ultimately the patients.
