Le poste de Senior Cloud Engineer chez HPE est conçu comme un rôle hybride, permettant aux employés de travailler en moyenne deux jours par semaine depuis un bureau HPE. En rejoignant l’équipe, le candidat contribuera à GreenLake, la plateforme cloud hybride d’HPE, utilisée par des milliers de clients pour gérer leurs ressources à travers plusieurs environnements cloud tout en maintenant un contrôle optimal de leurs données.

Fonctions essentielles

Le Senior Cloud Engineer sera impliqué dans diverses tâches, notamment :

• Analyse et mise à jour de la logique système et de la documentation.
• Conception, mise en œuvre et dépannage des systèmes logiciels.
• Développement frontend et backend.
• Contribution à la roadmap produits.
• Assistance du client et respect des standards techniques.
• Collaboration avec les équipes de vente et d’opération pour comprendre et recommander des solutions.
• Apprentissage des défis opérationnels et développement de stratégies pour les résoudre.

Profil du candidat

Le candidat idéal sera doté des compétences suivantes :

• Expérience en Java, Groovy, Ruby et/ou Python.
• Familiarité avec les environnements Linux.
• Connaissance en développement backend, RESTful APIs et gestion de bases de données (SQL et NoSQL).
• Compréhension de principes de stockage, réseau et calcul.
• Expérience en virtualisation, DevOps, et technologies d’automatisation.
• Capacité à gérer des projets et résoudre des problèmes de manière autonome.
• Compétences en communication et volonté d’apprendre.

Exigences en matière d’éducation et d’expérience

• Baccalauréat en informatique, en ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe.
• Minimum de 6 ans d’expérience dans des projets technologiques.
• Certifications pertinentes (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• You will analyse and update system logic and documentation
• You will participate and lead in designing, implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting software systems.
• You will be responsible for frontend and backend software development
• You will need to stay updated on and be asked to contribute to product roadmaps
• You will assist on customer issues as needed and help ensure technical standards and documentation requirements are met.
• You will collaborate with sales engineering and operational teams to understand customer needs and recommend solutions.
• You will learn about the operational challenges faced by engineering teams and assist in developing strategies to address them.

About You:

• You have experience in Java, Groovy, Ruby, and/or Python.
• You have experience with Linux environments
• You have experience with backend development, RESTful APIs, server-side logic, or database management with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• You understand core compute, storage, and networking principles.
• You have experience with virtualization, IT Service Management (ITSM), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and other automation technologies.
• You have experience with build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle), version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• You have experience applying cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
• You take complete ownership of projects and mistakes, possess problem-solving skills, and have tremendous self-drive.
• You have strong communication skills and a willingness to listen and learn from more experienced team members and mentor more junior team members.
• You have some experience in system architecture and design principles.
• You can translate product requirements into technical tasks, with guidance from Senior Engineers.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ Years of experience contributing to technology projects and delivering solutions at scale.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, CompTIA Security+).
