Ce rôle clé chez Standard Chartered nécessite un candidat talentueux et passionné pour endosser le titre d’Hypervisor Engineer. Le candidat retenu sera responsable de la gestion, du test et du déploiement de logiciels hyperviseurs au sein d’une infrastructure cloud privée. Ce poste est essentiel à l’évolution de la stratégie de l’entreprise, en contribuant à façonner et guider le futur développement des capacités en cloud.

Responsabilités Principales

• Stratégie :
  • Concevoir et gérer la stack technologique pour nos solutions de virtualisation sur site.
  • Assurer la sécurité de la plateforme et des solutions techniques.
  • Développer des solutions innovantes via le codage et l’automatisation.
  • Évaluer les défis business et initier des actions pour atténuer les risques.
• Business :
  • Maintenir des relations solides avec les parties prenantes internes et externes.
  • Contribuer à des projets d’initiatives nouvelles.
• Gestion des Risques :
  • Prendre en charge les risques associés à la livraison et à la maintenance du code.
  • Éduquer l’équipe sur la gestion des risques, en cherchant des solutions automatisées pour réduire les risques.

Critères de Sélection

Les candidats doivent posséder au moins 5 ans d’expérience en déploiement d’infrastructure et d’applications. Une expérience en architecture et une capacité à mener des projets à bien sont indispensables. Le candidat idéal devrait également être un champion de l’automatisation et des solutions en libre-service.

Compétences Techniques Spécifiques

• Connaissance approfondie des architectures applicatives et des plateformes virtuelles.
• Compétences en analyse de performance des applications.
• Capacité à écrire du code.

📝 Description du poste : Job SummaryA talented and passionate senior individual to join Standard Chartered as a Hypervisor Engineer. In this role, you will play a key role in testing, releasing and managing Software hypervisors. This role will play a critical part in helping shape and guide the future growth and development for Private Cloud Infrastructure and will be responsible for the creation and transformation of the capabilities that will define how we organise to deliver on the strategy. This includes leading the design and delivery of the virtulization platform and storage capabilities crucial to our strategy. In addition, you will be instrumental in driving the engineering excellence culture and promoting engineering practices for the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy

• Design, manage and review our technology stack for our on premise virtualization solutions.
• Take a leading role in securing the platform.
• Lead the design and delivery of strategic initiatives for T&A
• Solving complex problems with best practice engineering to enable business and platform performance
• Develop and champion solutions through coding and automation
• Ensure platform delivery and services meet highest level of standard of availability and reliability.
• Ensure platform delivery and services meet security and risk requirements and operational SLA.
• Perform extensive periodic review of the infrastructure and proposal improvements
• Anticipate and evaluate business challenges and take action to mitigate
• Develop opportunities for innovation and out of the box thinking
• Enforce (through automation) engineering processes and policies and associated risk controls

Business

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Deliver new solutions and new practices to ensure the organisation capitalises on industry learning and growth
• Contribute to new business initiatives and projects
• Appraise and interpret complex requirements to understand the impact of the organisation’s ability to deliver change

Processes

• Realize the end-to-end delivery practice and its associated list of processes
• Responsible for delivery processes
• Be responsible for the risk management of change
• Drive the optimisation of delivery by reviewing and optimising data pertaining to the effectiveness of change

Risk Management

• Own the risks linked to the delivery of code into production
• Own the risks linked to the maintenance of code in production
• Own the end-to-end risks associated with the dev/test environments and the requisite tooling
• Drive for the closure of risks, operational events and audit findings on time, once and done
• Educate the team on risk management and continual mitigating of risk
• Comply with organisation risk management framework
• Find automated solutions to reduce risk and prevent human and manual solutions

• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Our Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years experience with Infrastructure and application deployments.
• Creating, and reviewing architecture designs for future technology
• Ensuring a joined up approach to solutions crossing multiple domains
• Making sure projects are run to completion and on time.
• Identifying gaps and propose solutions in the bank processes or security controls
• Champion automation and self-service solutions.

Role Specific Technical Competencies

• Knowledge of application architecture and how to execute on virtual platforms
• Understanding applications and how to do performance analysis
• A round knowledge of infrastructure and best practice architecture
• Strong knowledge of Virtualization, storage and networks.
• Able to write code.
• Strong written and verbal skills
