Description du poste

Le Senior Cost Analyst aura pour mission principale d’établir et de superviser des méthodologies de contrôle et de reporting des coûts au sein de l’entreprise. Cette responsabilité s’articule autour de plusieurs tâches clés :

• *Collaboration avec les groupes comptables de Worley et des clients pour définir la méthode de contrôle des coûts des projets.*
• *Développement de procédures pour l’élaboration d’estimations concernant les modifications et ajouts aux infrastructures onshore et offshore.*
• *Préparation et supervision des estimations conformément aux procédures approuvées à chaque phase du projet.*
• *Validation des estimations par comparaison avec des normes de haut niveau et des coûts antérieurs.*
• *Gestion de la fonction de contrôle des coûts et garantie de l’intégrité des données.*

Le poste implique aussi une communication constante avec les parties prenantes internes et externes, garantissant ainsi une gestion optimale des coûts et une facturation précise.

Qualifications requises

Les candidats doivent posséder les compétences et qualifications suivantes :

• *Diplôme de Bachelor en ingénierie.*
• *Minimum de 15 ans d’expérience en tant qu’analyste des coûts ou en comptabilité de projet.*
• *Expérience avec SAP préférée, ainsi qu’une maîtrise des systèmes de contrôle des coûts.*
• *Capacité à communiquer efficacement avec divers intervenants.*

• Liaise with Worley Corporate and Client accounting groups to establish a project cost control and reporting methodology.
• Develop procedures for the preparation of estimates for modifications and additions to the onshore and offshore facility.
• Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of estimates in accordance with the approved procedure for all phases of the works from the agreed engineering deliverables to the appropriate level of accuracy.
• Receive the engineering estimate from the lead/project engineer and incorporate into the overall estimate for all phases of the work.
• Prepare rationale statements to support the estimate identifying areas of weakness and or areas of risk.
• Carry out validation and verification of the estimates using high level norms and by comparing with previous estimates, outcome costs and vendor prices.
• Develop, implement and control the project accounting and job costing system to meet project requirements.
• Take ownership of the cost control function and ensure integrity of the data being processed.
• Interface with project personnel to develop project forecasts and analyse project costs.
• Liaise with clients to clarify cost related issues and develop timely and meaningful monthly invoices. Ensure payment of invoices according to contract terms.
• Preparation of project invoices in conjunction with the Accounts Department.
• Preparation of monthly financial reports for the project.
• Implement financial controls including controlling authorisations of expenditure and cash flow projections.
• Preparation of budgets in conjunction with engineering and construction team members.
• Ensure effective coordination and cooperation between other team members, particularly regarding cost, planning (forecasting) and procurement matters.
• Prepare and control Inter Entity Work Orders.
• Effective Change Management
• Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the BU, etc.
• Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the BU, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Min 15 years Cost Analyst / Project accounting experience.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Experience and ability to use mainstream Cost Controller systems, Ecosys experience will be highly regarded.
• Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.
