Poste à Pourvoir : Senior Creative Technologist
Ce rôle stratégique est au cœur de l’équipe de conception mondiale d’HSBC. La position de Senior Creative Technologist implique l’interaction entre design et ingénierie, visant à créer des expériences client de premier ordre qui répondent aux besoins des clients fortunés à l’échelle mondiale. Ce poste est également essentiel pour le développement d’outils et de plugins, et l’évolution de l’architecture technique du système de design de HSBC.
Responsabilités Principales
En tant que Senior Creative Technologist, vous serez chargé de :
- Supporter l’évolution et la mise en œuvre technique du système de design sur des plateformes comme Figma.
- Développer et entretenir des plugins et outils sur Figma pour améliorer les workflows de design et DevOps.
- Contribuer à la documentation, aux meilleures pratiques et au matériel de formation pour les équipes globales de conception et de développement.
- Identifier des opportunités d’automatisation, d’innovation, et d’amélioration des performances dans l’écosystème du système de design.
- Collaborer étroitement avec des équipes de design et de développement pour garantir l’intégration fluide des composants.
- Maintenir et étendre l’architecture technique du système de design, garantissant sa scalabilité et sa maintenabilité.
- Fournir un mentorat technique aux membres de l’équipe pour soutenir l’adoption du design.
- Développer des relations de confiance avec les parties prenantes pour renforcer la collaboration.
Compétences et Qualifications Requises
Pour réussir dans ce rôle, les candidats doivent présenter :
- Des compétences solides en ingénierie front-end, de préférence avec une expérience dans l’infrastructure des systèmes de design.
- Une maîtrise de TypeScript, JavaScript, et des interfaces de programmation d’applications (APIs) de Figma.
- Une compréhension approfondie des frameworks basés sur les composants (ex. : React) et des frameworks de tokens de design.
- Des compétences dans les workflows). et les outils de design-to-code, incluant CI/CD et codegen.
- Une expérience dans le développement d’applications mobiles natives (iOS/Android) est un avantage.
- Un sens aigu des problèmes, de l’autonomie et des compétences en leadership pour faire avancer les initiatives.
- Des compétences en communication excellentes, permettant de travailler facilement au sein d’équipes pluridisciplinaires.
- La capacité à traduire les spécifications de design en composants techniques réutilisables.

We align business strategy with user needs across channels and touchpoints to shape the future experience for affluent customers across the globe. As a Senior Creative Technologist, you will help bridge the gap between design and engineering, to develop tooling and plugins, contribute to our GenUI (Figma-to-code) workflow, and evolve the technical underpinnings of our design system.In this role you will:
- Support the adoption, evolution, and technical implementation of our design system in Figma and beyond
- Develop and maintain custom Figma plugins and tools to support design workflows and DevOps, including GenUI – our platform for Figma-to-code generation and automation
- Contribute to documentation, best practices and training materials for global design and development team
- Identify opportunities for automation, innovation, and performance improvements within the design system ecosystem, explore and pilot AI-driven design tools and efficiency methods
- Partner with design and development teams to ensure seamless integration of components and tokens.
- Maintain and extend the technical architecture of the Hive design system, to ensure system scalability, performance, and maintainability across platforms and brands.
- Provide technical mentorship to other team members and support design adoption
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, leading to stronger collaboration within the project
RequirementsTo be successful you will need
- Strong front-end engineering skills, ideally with experience in design system infrastructure
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Figma plugin Application Programming Interface (APIs)
- Deep understanding of component-based frameworks (e.g. React) and design token frameworks
- Skilled in design-to-code workflows and tools (eg. Figma, Application Programming Interface (APIs), Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), codegen)
- Experience in native mobile app development (iOS/Android) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving, autonomy and leadership in driving initiatives from concept to rollout
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working across cross-functional team
- Ability to translate design specs into reusable technical components and systems
