Description du Poste
La mission de l’ingénieur senior en barrages (RCC) comprend essentiellement la conceptualisation et la réalisation de conceptions détaillées pour les barrages aqueux, ainsi que la gestion de multiples projets grâce à une approche pluridisciplinaire. Parmi les responsabilités spécifiques, on trouve :
- Conception depuis les concepts jusqu’aux spécifications détaillées des barrages et des bassins de retenue.
- Réalisation d’analyses de faisabilité et d’alternatives, en intégrant une solide connaissance des spécifications techniques.
- Inspections des barrages existants et évaluation de leur condition, incluant la surveillance des données.
- Gestion de l’ensemble du projet et relations avec les clients, en intervenant comme consultant indépendant dans des ateliers d’analyse de risques.
- Encadrement et développement technique du personnel junior.
Exigences du Poste
Qualifications Minimales :
- Baccalauréat en ingénierie civile ou domaine connexe + 10 ans d’expérience pertinente ou équivalence en formation.
- Expérience dans l’utilisation du béton compacté au rouleau (RCC).
- Expérience avérée dans des projets consacrés aux barrages, incluant inspection et conception.
- Bilingue – Anglais et espagnol.
Qualifications Préférées :
- Minimum de 15 ans d’expérience avec un accent sur les projets de barrages.
- Compétences interpersonnelles et en résolution de conflits.
- Excellentes capacités de communication écrite et présentation.

Join us and let’s get started.Job DescriptionAECOM has an immediate opportunity available for a Senior Dams Engineer (RCC) for employment in Panama City, Panama.The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conceptual to detailed design of water dams, retarding basins, service basins
- Perform as Capture Manager for pre-positioning and preparing proposals
- Inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams including review and surveillance of monitoring data.
- Perform Alternatives Analyses, Feasibility Studies, and Detailed Designs with strong knowledge of design drawings and technical specifications.
- Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs and applications.
- Conduct potential failure mode analyses and risk analyses for water storage and hydropower dams, including identifying and developing potential failure modes, and serving as Independent Consultant or Facilitator in risk analysis workshops.
- Client liaison and experience with technical review boards.
- Project management of multidisciplinary teams and the engagement of AECOM’s operations/finance teams
- Mentoring and technical development of junior staff, supporting them to achieve technical success
- Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work.
- Supervision received is essentially administrative, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits
QualificationsMinimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Experience with Roller-compacted concrete (RCC) for construction or repairs
- Relevant experience with Dam projects including inspection, rehabilitation and/or new design and construction.
- Experience in performing inspection, design, and/or engineering activities in dams or water retaining structures
- Bilingual – English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
- 15 years or more experience including relevant experience with Dam projects including inspection, rehabilitation and/or new design and construction.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, staff supervision, strong negotiation skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Excellent written communications and presentation abilities in internal project settings with the project team, external project stakeholders, and leadership.
