Description du Poste
Le poste de Senior Developer – C/C++ au sein de Silvaco implique le développement de solutions pour des outils de vérification physique à haute performance. Le candidat sera chargé de traiter de grands ensembles de données géométriques et collaborera étroitement avec le chef d’équipe basé en Ukraine et d’autres membres de l’équipe aux États-Unis.

Fonctions et Responsabilités Essentielles
Les responsabilités de ce poste incluent, sans s’y limiter :

• Collaborer avec le leader d’équipe et le management de programme pour développer et soutenir du code en fonction des exigences du projet.
• Documenter et tester unitairement tout code dans les environnements Windows et Linux avant de le soumettre au contrôle de version.
• Développer indépendamment des procédures de test et diriger les tests de logiciels conformément aux délais convenus.
• Adapter ses horaires de travail si nécessaire pour atteindre les objectifs du projet.

Qualifications et Expérience Requises
Les candidats doivent posséder les qualifications suivantes :

• Un master en Informatique, Génie Logiciel ou discipline connexe, avec plus de cinq ans d’expérience en développement logiciel.
• Solides compétences en programmation C et C++.
• Connaissances en microélectronique et en logiciels EDA, un atout.
• Expérience avec les bases de données et la communication inter-outils.
• Maîtrise de langues de script, telles que JavaScript, Tcl, Python, ainsi que des langages spécifiques aux systèmes d’exploitation comme PowerShell et Bash.
• Connaissances des technologies avancées comme l’informatique distribuée et l’apprentissage automatique.
• Compréhension des meilleures pratiques de développement de logiciels à haute intégrité.
• Expérience avec les systèmes de construction et de test sous Windows et Linux.
• Capacité à configurer des environnements de développement en local, sur machines virtuelles et dans le cloud (ex : VirtualBox, Vagrant, Docker).

Qualifications Préférées
Il est souhaitable que les candidats possèdent les qualités suivantes :

• Expérience dans un environnement de travail à distance.
• Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et à communiquer efficacement avec les membres de l’équipe.
• Aptitude à analyser les besoins des utilisateurs et à formuler des solutions.

Our solutions are deployed in production flows across broad industry segments such as leading display companies, automotive OEM suppliers, and top Memory, 5G, and IoT (internet of things) providers.Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARYSilvaco, one of the leading suppliers of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software to the semiconductor industry, is adding a new position of Senior Software Engineer for high-performance physical verification tool.The application to be improved and supported deals with processing of large arrays of geometric data.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

• Work closely with the Team Leader (based in Ukraine), Program Management (based in United States) and the rest of the team in developing and supporting code and associated infrastructure to meet the project requirements

• Document and unit-test all code, in both Windows and Linux environments, prior to checking-in to version control

• Working within agreed time scales, independently develop test procedures and direct software testing and functional testing of assembled product configurations

• When required, work flexible hours to meet project targets

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• A master degree, or higher level, in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline and 5 or more years of software development

• Strong coding skills in C and C++

• Acquaintance with microelectronics and EDA software would be a distinct advantage

• Experience in databases and inter-tool communication

• Good knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Tcl and Python, and of OS-specific scripting languages such as Powershell (for Windows) and Bash shell (for Linux)

• Familiarity with more advanced technologies such as multi-threading, distributed computing, and machine learning

• A good understanding of best practices in high-integrity software development, including documentation, version control, continuous integration, and Agile project management

• Experience with build, installation and test systems in Windows and Linux

• Knowledge of provisioning development environments locally, in Virtual Machines and in the Cloud, for example using Virtual Box, Vagrant or Docker

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in remote work team environment preferred

• Self-starter, ability to work independently, able to work from home and communicate to other team members via chat, email, and video meetings and achieve objectives within project timescales

• Ability to analyze user requirements and formulate solutions

• Ability to create and review technical specifications, test plans and documentation of a good standard

• An aptitude for future professional development with a view of taking on further responsibilities in a growing technology company

• Good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
