Responsabilités clés
En tant que Senior Digital Engineering Manager, vous serez responsable de plusieurs activités critiques :
- Gestion de portefeuille : Une expérience démontrable dans la gestion de portefeuille en tant que consultant ou client.
- Formation de l’équipe : Former l’équipe actuelle à déployer des services numériques, incluant la gestion des contrats fournisseurs et des développements de cycles pour des outils tels que Power Bi et Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Suivi de la performance : Superviser la performance de l’équipe numérique et améliorer les processus standards.
- Support au cycle de vie des projets : Aider l’équipe projet à chaque phase, en évaluant les ressources nécessaires pour atteindre les objectifs visés.
- Développement stratégique : Élaborer des plans d’exécution BIM et des stratégies de remise digitale pour les clients.
- Conformité aux normes : Développer et maintenir une compréhension des normes ISO 19650 et d’autres règlements pertinents.
Qualifications requises
Le candidat idéal doit présenter un ensemble de compétences variées, incluant une connaissance avancée des systèmes de gestion de contenu, des produits Autodesk, et des outils de validation et de vérification. - Demonstrable portfolio management experience in a consultancy or client capacity.
- Train the incumbent team in deployment of digital services across the portfolio, comprising: software procurement, management of software provider contracts and SLA’s, configuration and development cycles for Power Bi, GIS and Autodesk Construction Cloud, hardware resilience and developing/managing a standard on-site office specification and implementation.
- Oversight of digital team performance and continued improvement in standard processes
- Provide training for the team to allow them to become self-sufficient in digital delivery across all seven future cities.
- This will be a client facing role and will be expected to present internally to the City SLT, the project teams and their supply chains.
- Support the Project Team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assess the current resources on current projects to ensure that they are sufficient to meet the project goals.
- Communicates effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Conducts interviews to assess the skills and experience of potential candidates for BIM roles.
- Develops BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Develops the client’s digital handover strategy.
- Develops and maintains an understanding of ISO19650 and any applicable standards for clients.
- Ensures security protocols have been followed for viewing and issuing of information on all projects.
- Implements governance and assurance processes.
- Monitors digital handover to completion.
- Participates in industry events to stay up to date on the latest BIM developments.
- Produces Information Requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR and EIR) as per ISO 19650.
- Produces information standards, methods and procedures, and shared resources.
- Raises job requisitions to identify and recruit new talent for the BIM team.
- Researches compliance with new regulations and governance.
- Responsible for object library development in alignment with wider BIM Strategy.
- Responsible for the Assurance and Checking of the Information Model.
- Responsible for the Production of the Information Model. (Pre-RIBA Stage 3 only)
- Reviews Autodesk construction cloud account management and stay up to date on the latest Autodesk developments.
- Reviews current technology solutions and research new solutions that can be used to improve the BIM process including emerging technologies.
- Supports construction sequencing strategy using information models.
- Supports Mace Cost team in preparation of cost plans from information models.
- Provides training on using databases, analysing data, creating templates, conducting assurance, COBie production, and other BIM-related topics.
- Upskills the client team, Mace project managers and design team by running BIM knowledge sharing sessions.
- Collaborates with Mace PM and Design teams on procedural elements and compliance with the Mace Way.
- Identifies and implements continuous improvement plans/identifies key business improvements.
- Develops & maintains a series of both internal and external relationships.
- Manages & influences Key/Senior stakeholders.
