Description du poste
Nous recherchons actuellement un Senior Engineering Geologist pour rejoindre notre équipe à Ciudad de Panamá. Ce poste est crucial pour mener à bien des investigations géotechniques et contribuer à la conception de projets d’envergure, notamment des barrages. Les responsabilités incluent :
- Réalisation d’investigations géotechniques, incluant le logging et la caractérisation des propriétés des matériaux de fondation.
- Cartographie géologique et supervision des programmes de tests de laboratoire.
- Analyse des données et rédaction de rapports de haute qualité.
- Collaboration avec les ingénieurs géotechniques et structuraux pour développer des conceptions robustes.
- Assistance à la préparation de la documentation de projet et proposition.
- Cartographie géologique lors de la construction des fondations de barrages.
Qualifications requises
Conditions minimales :
- Titre de Bachelor en Géologie ou domaine connexe avec 10 ans d’expérience pertinente, ou équivalence démontrée.
- Expérience spécifique dans des projets de barrages.
- Bilingue (anglais et espagnol).
Qualifications souhaitées :
- 15 ans ou plus d’expérience en projets de barrages.
- Compétences interpersonnelles avérées et capacités de supervision.
- Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et présentation.

Join us and let’s get started.Job DescriptionAECOM has an immediate opportunity available for a Senior Engineering Geologist for employment in Panama City, Panama.The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Undertaking geotechnical investigations including:
- Logging and characterizing the engineering properties of foundation and embankment materials.
- Geological mapping
- Overseeing laboratory testing programs
- Data collation, geological characterization, analysis and reporting
- Assisting in the preparation of project documentation including reports, project communications, and design drawings and report figures that are of a high professional standard
- Collaborating with geotechnical and structural engineers to develop robust dam designs.
- Assisting in the preparation of project documentation including reports, project communications, and design drawings and report figures that are of a high professional standard.
- Assisting with proposals.
- Performing geological mapping during construction of a dam foundation
QualificationsMinimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Relevant experience with Dam projects including inspection, rehabilitation and/or new design and construction.
- Experience in performing inspection, design, and/or engineering activities in dams or water retaining structures
- Bilingual – English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
- 15 years or more experience including relevant experience with Dam projects including inspection, rehabilitation and/or new design and construction.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, staff supervision, strong negotiation skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Excellent written communications and presentation abilities in internal project settings with the project team, external project stakeholders, and leadership.
