Mission du Poste
Titre du poste : Senior Financial Accountant
Localisation : Budapest
Ce rôle est axé sur la gestion intégrale des processus comptables financiers, avec une attention particulière portée à la conformité avec les normes US GAAP et les exigences légales locales.
Responsabilités Clés
Vous serez chargé de :
- Effectuer des tâches de réconciliation quotidienne, hebdomadaire et mensuelle, en investiguant et corrigeant les éventuelles anomalies.
- Compléter les écritures comptables manuelles, approuver les écritures de journal et effectuer les rapprochements de bilan.
- Préparer les déclarations de TVA, les rapports Intrastat et EC concernant les ventes et achats.
- Traiter et allouer les paiements, ainsi que préparer des rapports de flux de trésorerie hebdomadaires.
- Gérer la compensation interentreprises et les réservations de règlement.
- Suivre l’évolution des métriques du processus comptable et participer à des projets d’amélioration des processus.
Profil Recherché
Vous devez posséder :
- Bac+3 en économie, comptabilité ou domaine équivalent.
- Excellente compréhension des principes comptables.
- Maîtrise de l’anglais; la connaissance d’une langue européenne est un atout.
- Compétences avancées en MS Office, notamment Excel.
- Bonne compréhension des systèmes ERP majeurs.
- Capacités analytiques solides et aptitude à comprendre les besoins commerciaux.
- Attention portée aux détails et gestion précise des données.

📝 Description du poste : Ensuring Chart’s Success…We are looking for you to join Howden and be a trusted and valued member of our Financial Accounting team based in the Budapest Shared Service Centre. Working as part of a vital team, you will have the opportunity to support a number of exciting projects in addition to your day-to-day tasks. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end financial accounting process across the global scope and ensure the application of US GAAP and the local statutory requirements.What Will You Do?
- Performing daily/weekly/monthly reconciliation tasks and investigating/correcting discrepancies
- Completing manual booking and approve journal bookings and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing VAT returns/Intrastat/EC sales and purchase reporting
- Processing and allocating payments
- Preparing cash flow reports on a weekly basis
- Managing intercompany netting and process settlement booking
- Tracking and reporting of metrics on the overall financial accounting process
- Participating in process improvement and standardization projects
This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday. We offer hybrid working for this role which will allow you to enjoy the balance of home working and collaboration time with the team in our modern, friendly offices.Your Experience Should Be…
- BA in the field of economics and/or accounting
- Strong understanding of the accounting principles
- Fluency in English is a must, but any European language knowledge is an advantage
- Strong MS Office knowledge, especially in Excel
- Good understanding of major ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand business needs and influence business impact
- Attention to details and accurate data management
