Ce poste vous offre l’occasion de jouer un rôle clé dans le développement de solutions d’automatisation IoT et logistique pour la recherche scientifique. En tant qu’Ingénieur IoT Senior, vous serez intégré au prestigieux Life Sciences Lab of the Future et vous contribuerez à révolutionner les processus scientifiques par des technologies d’intégration et d’automatisation de pointe.
Responsabilités Principales
- Conception et mise en œuvre : Développer des solutions IoT pour optimiser l’efficacité des processus scientifiques.
- Intégration des technologies IoT : Utiliser des technologies telles que RFID et BLE pour le suivi des échantillons et instruments de laboratoire.
- Surveillance des conditions : Intégrer des capteurs IoT pour assurer la surveillance des environnements de laboratoire.
- Création de plateformes IoT : Développer des applications pour l’IA de vision et les charges de travail à la périphérie des systèmes de laboratoire.
- Collaboration interdisciplinaire : Travailler avec différents départements pour intégrer les systèmes d’automatisation avec les sous-systèmes scientifiques existants.
Qualifications Requises
Pour réussir dans ce rôle, les candidats doivent posséder :
- Formation : Diplôme en ingénierie, informatique ou domaine similaire, avec au moins 3 ans d’expérience pertinente.
- Compétences techniques : Solides connaissances en technologies IoT, cloud et automatisation industrielle.
- Langages de programmation : Maîtrise de langages tels que C# ou Python.
- Protocoles industriels : Compréhension des protocoles tels que OPC UA, MQTT, et Modbus pour l’intégration des dispositifs IoT.
- Infrastructure réseau : Connaissance des concepts de réseau et des outils de monitoring.
Une expérience avec des systèmes de gestion de l’information de laboratoire (LIMS) est un atout. Les candidats doivent également faire preuve d’une expertise en intégration sécurisée des plateformes cloud et des technologies de l’Internet des objets industriel (IIoT).

- Design and implement solutions enabling IoT and automation capabilities within laboratory environments for operational monitoring and efficiency of scientific processes.
- Integrate IoT technologies to track scientific entities (samples/instruments/consumables) using RFID, UWB, BLE, and other IoT stack/technologies.
- Integrate IoT sensors/devices and scientific instruments for condition monitoring of laboratory environments, instruments and Storage units.
- Build IoT edge platform to run vision AI and edge workloads in laboratory environments.
- Contribute to design and development of Lab floor automation capabilities for material handling in Labs – Material handling equipment automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems with existing scientific subsystems and processes.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, we imagine you have:
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or similar field and proven experience (3+ years) in integration technologies and designing solutions for automation.
- Experience in IoT and cloud technologies, industrial/lab automation in manufacturing, labs, warehouse automation, or similar environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python or similar.
- Knowledge in working with AWS or Azure IoT and cloud services combined with proficiency in CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Containerization.
- Familiarity with industrial and communication protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, SparkPlugB, RFID, BLE, UWB etc. for seamless integration with IoT devices.
- Working knowledge of network concepts, compute infrastructure, and monitoring tools to support the automation environment.
If you have experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and data integration it will be an advantage. If not, this role can be your opportunity to gain it. Other qualifications that would make you a perfect candidate include knowledge of network architectures, security protocols, edge computing, and PLC/instrument integration. Additionally, proven expertise in seamlessly integrating cloud platforms, particularly Azure or AWS, with operational technologies (OT) and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)to foster scalable, secure, and efficient lab environments will be a big plus.
