Description du Poste

En tant que Senior JAVA Application Engineer, vous serez au cœur du développement et de la maintenance des plateformes d’assurance internes sophistiquées, principalement construites avec Java et Spring Boot. Le candidat sélectionné intégrera l’une de nos équipes et sera responsable de la création de fonctionnalités générant un impact réel sur le business.

Responsabilités Clés

• Développer des fonctionnalités commerciales utilisées par de larges communautés d’utilisateurs.
• Examiner et approuver des pull requests tout en veillant à la cohérence et à la qualité du code.
• Collaborer efficacement avec des équipes multifonctionnelles, y compris les ingénieurs en exigences, les spécialistes QA et d’autres ingénieurs d’applications.
• Créer des diagrammes d’architecture définissant la stratégie technologique.
• Intégrer des services et des plateformes partagées, y compris des systèmes de messagerie, des workflows BPMN, des frameworks de logging et des solutions de télémétrie.
• Se tenir au courant des technologies émergentes et des développements en matière d’intelligence artificielle générative pour améliorer continuellement nos solutions.

• Aisance à travailler avec des bases de code importantes et établies, avec un temps significatif passé dans l’IDE.

Compétences Souhaitables

• Expérience avec les pipelines CI/CD et les pratiques DevOps.
• Connaissance des technologies de conteneurisation comme Docker et Kubernetes.

Conditions de Salaire et Avantages

• Develop business features and functionality that will be used by large user communities
• Review and approve pull requests and enforce consistency and quality standards in the codebase
• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams including requirements engineers, QA specialists, and other application engineers
• Create architecture diagrams that decide the technology strategy
• Integrate services and shared platforms including messaging systems, BPMN workflows, logging frameworks, and telemetry solutions
• Stay current with emerging technologies and Generative AI developments to continuously improve our solutions

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 3,800 and EUR 6,300 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
– the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,– the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements.
