Votre Impact
En tant que Senior Machine Learning Engineer II pour Axon, vous aurez la responsabilité de contribuer au développement de solutions d’intelligence artificielle (IA) visant à transformer le secteur de la sécurité publique. Collaborant avec des équipes pluridisciplinaires, vous participerez à la création et l’optimisation de modèles de machine learning type pour nos produits, tels que Fleet, Axon Body, et Axon Air. Cette position est essentielle pour avancer dans notre mission essentielle : accélérer la justice, protéger la vérité et sauver des vies.
Responsabilités Principales
Localisation : Télétravail depuis le Vietnam ou modèle hybride avec bureau à Ho Chi Minh City.
Rapporte à : Machine Learning Manager
- Collaborer avec des scientifiques et des chefs de produit pour développer des preuves de concept (POCs) qui orienteront l’avenir d’Axon.
- Concevoir et développer des solutions sécurisées et respectueuses de la vie privée pour améliorer continuellement les modèles d’IA existants.
- Élaborer l’architecture du prochain cadre de déploiement continu d’IA sur nos dispositifs.
- Activer de nouvelles fonctionnalités d’IA sur les dispositifs existants et nouveaux d’Axon en optimisant les modèles pour l’edge.
- Collaborer avec des scientifiques pour implémenter des techniques d’entraînement de pointe.
Compétences Requises
- Bachelor en informatique, ingénierie, électronique, mathématiques ou dans un domaine technique équivalent.
- Plus de 6 ans d’expérience en ingénierie logicielle avec un bilan avéré de déploiement de modèles d’IA sur des dispositifs.
- Expérience en développement et débogage GPU/TPU.
- Maîtrise de Python et C++, familiarité avec des frameworks ML tels que TensorFlow ou PyTorch.
- Connaissance approfondie de Linux.
- Excellentes capacités de résolution de problèmes et d’analyse architecturale.
- Compétences en conception logicielle de haut niveau.
- Aptitude à communiquer avec des scientifiques, des ingénieurs et des responsables de produits.
Qualifications Préférées
- Master/Doctorat en informatique, ingénierie, électronique, mathématiques ou dans un domaine technique similaire.
- Expérience en compression de modèles (quantification, distillation de modèles, etc.).
- Expérience pratique en résolution de problèmes de vision par ordinateur ou de compréhension du langage naturel dans un cadre professionnel.
- Familiarité avec le cryptage de modèles et les techniques d’IA respectueuses de la vie privée.

Working closely with other ML engineers and scientists, you will enable new AI capabilities for Axon’s products (Fleet, Axon Body, Axon Air, VR and more) by supporting the training, evaluation, testing and deployment of machine learning models on Axon devices.As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be exposed to a wide range of AI domains and applications: from computer vision to speech recognition and natural language understanding.What You’ll DoLocation: Remotely from Vietnam OR Hybrid from our office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Reports to: Machine Learning Manager
- Collaborate with scientists and product managers to build proof-of-concepts (POCs) contributing to shaping the Axon of tomorrow.
- Architect and develop secure, privacy-preserving, solutions to enable the continuous improvement of existing AI models.
- Architect the next generation of the continuous deployment framework for AI on device.
- Enable new AI feature on existing and new Axon’s devices by optimizing models for the edge.
- Collaborate with scientists in architecting and implementing state-of-the-art training techniques.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics or an equivalent highly technical field.
- 6+ years of software engineering experience and a proven track record of successfully deploying AI models on devices.
- Experience with GPU/TPU development and debugging.
- Proficiency in Python and C++, familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux.
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to dive deep into system architecture.
- Excellent software design skills.
- Comfort communicating and interacting with scientists, engineers and product managers.
Preferred
- Master’s Degree/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics or an equivalent highly technical field.
- Experience with model compression (quantization, model distillation, …).
- Hands-on experience in solving Computer Vision or Natural Language Understanding problems in a business setting.
- Familiarity with model encryption and privacy preserving AI techniques.
