Rôle et Responsabilités
Le Senior Manager Business Audit, intégré à l’équipe de Global Internal Audit (GIA), aura pour mission de planifier et d’exécuter des audits opérationnels, financiers et de conformité pour les entreprises de Booking Holdings. Ce poste implique :
- Gestion de la qualité : Superviser l’ensemble du processus d’audit, de la préparation à l’exécution.
- Relations avec les parties prenantes : Établir des liens stratégiques avec la direction, les équipes de risque et les auditeurs externes.
- Élaboration de l’audit : Contribuer à la préparation du plan d’audit annuel et aux stratégies à long terme.
- Management d’équipe : Recruter, coacher et gérer des professionnels de l’audit.
Expérience et Qualifications
Les candidats doivent posséder :
- Un diplôme de niveau Bachelor en Finance, Comptabilité ou Administration des affaires.
- Une certification CA/ACCA/CPA/CIA est souhaitée.
- Un minimum de 10 ans d’expérience, de préférence dans un cabinet d’audit de type Big 4.
- Une maîtrise des normes de l’Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

This role will be responsible for planning and executing operational, financial and compliance related audits of Booking Holdings companies, which often include significant IT components and controls. Managing relationships with key stakeholders across our business units and functions, fist and second line risk functions and external auditors is part of the role. This role will contribute to preparing the annual audit and the longer-term strategy of the GIA function, as well as assist with managing SOX audits in the relevant areas.This position is based in Amsterdam at the head office of Booking.com and involves occasional travel to other Booking Holdings companies.This position is based in Amsterdam and involves occasional travel to other Booking Holdings companies.\Responsibilities:Drive the delivery and ensure quality of internal audits and reviews through the entire process – prepare, scope, plan, manage and execute – at Booking.com and other Booking Holdings companies.Manage relationships and drive alignment with key stakeholders including senior management, Risk & Compliance and external advisors.Contribute to the annual audit plan and the Global Internal Audit Strategy and operating procedures.Manage a team of audit professionals (internal or external), incl. recruitment, coaching, performance management.Act as an ambassador for the Global Internal Audit (GIA) function and key contact person for business areas.Add value by identifying and driving opportunities to improve and drive positive change in governance, risk management and internal controls.Deliver continuous improvement of audit methodology and practices through the adherence of documented procedures and standards ensuring consistency of working practice and quality of audit team;Preparing formal written reports and presentations for senior management and the Audit Committee.Experience and Qualifications:A minimum of Bachelor’s (post-secondary degree) preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business administration.CA/ACCA//CPA/CIA or equivalent designation highly desirable.Big 4 Experience is desirable.Excellent knowledge of auditing various business operations and risk-based auditing attained through 10+ years of relevant experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm and / or Internal Audit function at a listed company.Thorough understanding of the standards of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and ability to fully comply with these standards.Good understanding of IT environments and experience with supporting IT audits.Strong skills in negotiating, relationship building, problem solving, and timely problem escalation.Excellent audit report writing and oral communication skills (proficiency in English).Maximum of 20% travel requirement globally based on the Audit plan and project requirements.Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Culture fit – The company is energetic, fast-paced and always evolving.
