Description du Rôle :
Le Senior Price Reporter jouera un rôle clé dans l’évaluation et le suivi du marché des biocarburants au sein de la région Asie-Pacifique. Cette position est idéale pour un candidat possédant des compétences analytiques solides, une compréhension poussée des dynamiques de marché, et une forte capacité à interagir avec divers acteurs du secteur.

Responsabilités Principales
- Couverture du marché : Rapport quotidien sur l’activité commerciale physique des biocarburants, incluant offres et demandes.
- Gestion des Relations : Établir un réseau de contacts, notamment avec des acteurs clés du marché, afin d’enrichir le processus d’évaluation.
- Développement Méthodologique : Identifier des axes d’amélioration pour affiner les méthodologies existantes et initier de nouvelles évaluations de prix.
- Analyse et Rédaction : Produire des commentaires et des analyses impactant directement les tendances de prix.
- Communication : Représenter S&P Global lors d’événements de l’industrie, construire la notoriété de l’entreprise à travers divers canaux.
Profil Recherché
Qualifications de Base :
Les candidats doivent posséder :
- Une expérience dans les marchés des biocarburants ou des matières agricoles connexes.
- Une maîtrise des compétences numériques et analytiques, ainsi qu’une bonne maîtrise d’Excel.
- Des compétences communicationnelles solides, tant à l’écrit qu’à l’oral en anglais.
- Une capacité à travailler de manière autonome et à résoudre des problèmes de manière efficace.
- Une aptitude à gérer plusieurs tâches sous pression.

- Une solide compréhension des fondamentaux économiques et des marchés des matières premières.
- Un réseau existant de contacts dans l’industrie, des compétences en mandarin seraient un atout.

The APAC Biofuels and feedstock pricing group is dynamic team, responsible for key pricing benchmarks across the region.The Impact: We are seeking a Senior Editor-price specialist who can help drive our biofuel assessments and market coverage across the Asia-Pacific region. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to S&P Global Commodity Insights Biofuel and Feedstock pricing team through leading coverage of a developing market and growing industry.What’s in it for you:
- Opportunities to represent S&P Global Commodity Insights at industry events, face-to-face meetings, presenting at conferences, webinars and podcasts to further develop S&P Global as a significant presence in the biofuels space.
- The successful candidate would contribute to a fast paced, and dynamic team based in Singapore, Malaysia and India that works across the biofuels and feedstocks markets.
- Assist in identifying, developing, and executing new price assessment opportunities across the biofuel markets.
Responsibilities:
- Market coverage on biofuels, reporting on daily physical trade activity including bids, offers and other relevant information
- Building and managing our database of contacts, seek potential new sources to contribute to our assessment process and developing a close business relationship with market participants
- Identifying opportunities to refine methodology and help launch new price assessments
- Writing daily and weekly commentaries and daily assessment rationale explaining the trends driving prices
- Providing support on other biofuels and feedstocks markets as may be required
- Creating news stories and multi-media coverage
- Representing S&P Global Commodity Insights at industry events as well as in face-to-face meetings with market participants to drive market adoption
- Work closely with relevant units across the organization such as commercial, analytics and news.
What We’re Looking For:Basic Qualifications:
- Experience of biofuels and feedstocks markets or comparable agriculture markets, accompanying awareness of exchange traded derivatives a benefit
- Strong numeracy skills and the ability to apply basic math functions in Excel
- Strong communication skills that demonstrate good listening, clear writing style, and strong verbal skills. The ability to communicate across a wide range of groups and personalities internally and externally.
- Fluent in English
- Excellent English writing skills
- Entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset with effective problem-solving skills
- An ability to multitask and prioritize under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A solid understanding of economics and commodities markets fundamentals.
- Existing network of contacts in the industry preferred
- Existing network of contacts in the industry is a benefit
- Additional language skills such as mandarin would be an advantage.
- Degree in Agronomics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business, International Relations or similar
- Experience in price reporting or market reporting is a benefit
