The Korea team, in particular, is entering an accelerated phase of portfolio diversification and is seeking top-tier talent to drive wind energy development initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a senior project leader, you will play a critical role in steering onshore wind development efforts from concept to execution. Working in close coordination with in-house and external stakeholders, your role will encompass technical, commercial, and regulatory functions essential to bringing projects to Ready-to-Build status.Core functions include:Driving all development phases of utility-scale wind projects, including site origination, land rights, permitting, wind analysis, and grid connection.Overseeing due diligence and development strategy for potential acquisitions or joint development partnerships.Leading third-party consultant engagement, regulatory interactions, and cross-functional collaboration.Managing development budgets, timelines, and key project deliverables.Supporting the preparation and negotiation of essential contracts and agreements across project stages-such as site control documents, co-development arrangements, PPA terms, EPC frameworks, and acquisition contracts.Leveraging internal financial models to evaluate the economic viability of new and ongoing opportunities.Reporting progress and strategic recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.As the organization expands, you may also become involved in broader corporate initiatives, including M&A activity, project financing, market analysis, and organizational growth planning.Ideal Candidate ProfileProfessional Expertise:Deep familiarity with the renewable energy sector in South Korea, with a particular emphasis on wind development.A demonstrable history of successfully advancing large-scale energy projects through the regulatory and technical pipeline to construction readiness.Strong command of local permitting, land acquisition processes, wind data validation, and interconnection frameworks.Experience managing complex stakeholder networks, including government entities, landowners, utilities, and financial advisors.Prior exposure to infrastructure or energy investments is highly desirable.Skills and Attributes:Bilingual fluency in Korean and English, both spoken and written.Strong negotiation, organizational, and project management skills.Comfort working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments with shifting priorities.Financial acumen with the ability to interpret or work alongside financial models.High emotional intelligence and cultural awareness in cross-functional teams.Education & Background:A degree in engineering, economics, business, or a related technical discipline is required.A postgraduate degree (e.g., MBA or equivalent) is a plus but not mandatory.A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in project development, ideally within renewables, energy infrastructure, or related sectors.
