Developing product, automates your meeting scheduling, launching, monitoring, management, analytics, and experience from a single platform that gives you global control of your Audio Video and Unified Communication ecosystem.We are looking for QA Engineer to join the Evolved Ideas team.YOUR IMPACT

• Roll out our test strategy on an iterative basis continuously improving transparency and efficiency
• Identify test conditions, both positive and negative, from User Stories, Product Backlog Items, and other requirements documents
• Execute test cases, document results, update progress, and track bugs
• Use both manual and automation testing techniques to identify, track and report existing bugs as well as potential areas of risk in our software
• Support releases by planning, estimating, and tracking the testing efforts and communicating status to stakeholders regularly
• Design and execute non-functional testing (e.g., performance, security, and accessibility) by using standard testing techniques
• Writing automated tests to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Contributing to the development and improvement of the test framework.

YOUR PROFILE

• 5+ years of experience in testing, actively using Java.
• Strong API testing skills
• Experience with Groovy/Spock or willingness to learn these technologies with team support. We are ideally looking for a candidate with expertise in Groovy, but we are also open to considering Java developers who are interested in learning Groovy and Spock.
• Experience in working with databases (SQL)
• Experience in testing APIs
• Experience with Web UI testing
• Understanding of HTTP protocol and knowledge of REST standards
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of software development process, best practices, and concepts
• Good knowledge of the Quality Assurance life cycle, testing methodologies
• Experience of working in an Agile Scrum/Kanban development environment
• Good written and spoken English.

COULD BE A PLUS

• Experience with Postman
• Experience in testing of the system with Microservice Architecture
• Knowledge of scalability and performance testing
• Experience with K6 or other performance testing tools
• Experience with Cypress
• Automated testing of UI components
• Automated testing of Apache Kafka queues
