Responsabilités et Missions
En tant que Senior Software Engineer – Node.js, vous jouerez un rôle crucial dans la conception et le développement d’applications logicielles en utilisant des méthodes agiles. Vos principales responsabilités incluront :
- Conception et Développement : Élaboration de programmes applicatifs adaptés aux systèmes cibles.
- Analyse des besoins clients : Résolution de problèmes de flux de travail via l’optimisation des automatisations.
- Écriture de Codes : Développement de nouveaux codes pour des applications ou amélioration des applications existantes.
- Tests Automatisés : Utilisation d’outils de test automatisés pour garantir la qualité du logiciel.
Cette position nécessite une collaboration étroite avec les équipes d’ingénierie basées en Slovaquie ainsi qu’avec le service IT de Caterpillar aux États-Unis.
Compétences Requises
Les candidats idéaux devront démontrer :
- Expérience en développement logiciel : Maîtrise des outils et des méthodologies de développement.
- Connaissance du cycle de vie du développement logiciel : Capacité à appliquer une méthodologie structurée.
- Ingénierie d’Intégration : Compétences à concevoir et maintenir des interfaces.
- Compétences en Communication : Efficacité dans la transmission et l’interprétation d’idées.
- Autonomie : Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et asynchrone.
- Expertise Technique : Expérience professionnelle avérée en Node.js, ainsi qu’une connaissance des technologies telles que Cloudwatch, Redis, et des bases de données SQL et NoSQL.

- Designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications for target system using agile methods.
- Acquiring client requirements; resolving workflow problems through automation optimization.
- Writing source codes for new applications, and/or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications.
- Utilizing automated testing tools to perform the testing and maintenance.
This position works directly with Slovakia based engineering leadership and Cat Digital IT in the US.What you have:
- Software Development: Knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements.
- Software Development Life Cycle: Knowledge of software development life cycle; ability to use a structured methodology for delivering and managing new or enhanced software products to the marketplace.
- Software Integration Engineering: Knowledge of software integration processes and functions; ability to design, develop and maintain interfaces and linkage to alternative platforms and software packages.
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Ability to work autonomously and asynchronously.
- Professional experience with Node.js Express
- Strong knowledge of Jest and experience with Unit testing
- Demonstrated experience with technologies such as Cloudwatch, Redis, ECS Margate/Fargate, Lambdas & Containers
- Experience with both SQL and noSQL databases
Top Candidates will also have:
- Working experience with agile development.
- Experience with release and deployment supervision.
- Proven experience with Azure
