CAE, un leader dans le domaine de la technologie numérique et de l’immersion, recrute un ingénieur logiciel senior pour participer au développement et à la maintenance de solutions logicielles avancées, notamment pour le Flight Plan Manager, un produit clé utilisé par des compagnies aériennes de premier plan.

Description du Poste

Le candidat retenu sera responsable de plusieurs missions clés :

• Débogage et Profilage : Identifier et résoudre des problèmes fonctionnels et non fonctionnels en collaboration avec l’équipe Customer Care.
• Analyse du Code : Réaliser des analyses complexes du code pour mieux expliquer le comportement du système.
• Refactoring : Améliorer le code existant en utilisant des techniques de développement guidées par les tests (TDD) et en appliquant les principes de conception SOLID.
• Tests Automatisés : Concevoir et développer des tests automatisés pour assurer la qualité du code.
• Maintenance du Code : Travailler sur une base de code complexe, y compris du code hérité.
• Revue de Code : Participer aux revues de code pour garantir la qualité du travail de l’équipe.
• Documentation : Écrire la documentation requise pour les fonctionnalités développées.
• Démo Produit : Présenter le logiciel aux clients internes et externes.
• Formation : Coacher et encadrer les membres moins expérimentés de l’équipe.
• Collaboration : Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les architectes pour réaliser la vision de l’architecture.
• Services d’urgence : Être disponible pour des interventions d’urgence si nécessaire.

Profil Recherché

Le candidat idéal doit répondre aux critères suivants :

• Expérience : Plus de 5 ans d’expérience en C++.
• Design Orienté Objet : Maîtrise du design orienté objet et du refactoring de code.
• T-SQL : Bonne connaissance de T-SQL.
• Cycle de Développement : Compréhension des méthodologies SCRUM et Kanban.
• Compétences Analytiques : Solides compétences en résolution de problèmes et compréhension des algorithmes.
• Travail d’Équipe : Compétences interpersonnelles et esprit d’équipe.
• Langue : Excellente communication en anglais, tant à l’écrit qu’à l’oral.

Les atouts supplémentaires :

• Support opérationnel d’applications.
• Expérience avec ActiveMQ ou d’autres produits de messagerie.
• Connaissance d’autres langages de programmation (C# ou Java).
• PowerShell ou un autre langage de script.
• Architecture et concepts de microservices.
• Connaissance du cloud computing.
• Utilisation de JIRA ou d’autres outils de suivi des bugs.

📝 Description du poste : About This RoleThe role we are offering you:

• Debug code and profile system performance to troubleshoot and fix functional and non-functional issues in close collaboration with the Customer Care team
• Conducting complex code analysis to explain system behaviours
• Refactor existing code, use TDD techniques, and apply the rules of SOLID Design principles
• Design and develop automated tests
• Maintain a complex code base, including legacy code
• Participate in code reviews
• Write the required documentation
• Demo software to internal and external customers
• Be up to date with software engineering trends and promote best practices internally
• Coach and mentor less experienced team members
• Works closely with architects on executing the architecture vision
• On call duty

Our ideal candidate has:

• 5+ years of experience in C++
• Object Oriented Design and Programming, and code refactoring
• T-SQL
• Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SCRUM/Kanban methodology)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills and knowledge of algorithms
• Very good interpersonal skills and a focus on teamwork and growing people
• Working in global and distributed teams
• Good English communication skills, written and verbal

The following will be considered as a plus:

• Experience in application operation support
• Experience in ActiveMQ or other messaging products
• Knowledge of another programming language (specifically: C# or Java)
• PowerShell or another scripting language
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and patterns
• Knowledge of cloud computing
• JIRA or another bug tracking tool

• We operate a hybrid working approach (3 days per week in the office).
