We operate two cement plants, over 100 quarries, 50 asphalt plants, 170 ready-mixed concrete plants, as well as a range of contract surfacing and other essential products to help our customers build the places where we all live, work, and play.Our People are our passion, by working as One Breedon, with shared goals and a common purpose, we are making a material difference.We are keeping it simple; we are making it happen, we are striving to improve, we are showing we care.Overview:We are currently seeking a Shift Electrician to join our team at Breedon Cement, Kinnegad.As a Shift Electrician you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, co-ordinating and delivering electrical projects in a heavy industrial production plant.Key Responsibilities
- Become a member of a shift team
- Maintaining analytical equipment
- Preventive maintenance
- Drafting Electrical Drawings
- Scope project resources before execution
- Inspection of equipment to ensure H&S requirements are fulfilled
- Commissioning electrical projects
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- >2years electrical maintenance or installation experience in a fixed-plant environment (preferably heavy engineering).
- Knowledge of industrial instrumentation installation and maintenance.
- Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC’s is a benefit benefit.
- Experience in motor control circuits is a benefit benefit.
- Experience in HV motors & HV switchgear is a benefit
- Calibration of pressure, temperature, level & analytical equipment
- Experience in weighing instrumentation & calibration
