We’re proud of our Great Place to Work certification.Learn more about us at our website:Job DescriptionThe Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with Adobe Commerce experience will be a vital member of the McFadyen Team. This role focuses on ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of high-volume Adobe Commerce environments. Working for large clients, the SRE will monitor systems, respond to production incidents, and proactively improve system health. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills in English, and availability for on-call support once a month.This position may require occasional evening or weekend work to support business needs or perform system maintenance.ResponsibilitiesTop 5 Responsibilities * Ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of Adobe Commerce platforms.

• Respond to and resolve critical incidents, participating in monthly on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation and monitoring solutions.
• Analyze system reliability metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding incident status, resolutions, and root cause analyses.

Additional Responsibilities

• Manage production issues and escalations, coordinating with support and development teams.
• Contribute to incident reviews and documentation of best practices.
• Monitor and maintain infrastructure and application logs and metrics.
• Identify opportunities for performance optimization and automation.
• Participate in infrastructure and deployment planning to enhance system reliability.
• Maintain high standards of operational excellence and documentation.

QualificationsTop 5 Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps professional with Adobe Commerce.
• Strong understanding of incident management and system reliability principles.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proactive mindset.

Other Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Datadog, Grafana).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Adobe Commerce certifications are a plus.
