Le Rôle au sein de l’Équipe de Production

Le poste de Bill of Materials (BOM) Engineer joue un rôle essentiel au sein de l’équipe de planification de la production dans cette nouvelle usine. Cette équipe est chargée de coordonner les volumes de production, le flux de matériaux et la planification des opérations, garantissant que l’usine respecte ses objectifs de production tout en restant flexible face aux exigences du marché.

Tâches Principales

En tant que BOM Engineer, vous serez chargé des responsabilités suivantes :

• Analyser et vérifier la structure du BOM, en investissant les erreurs pour assurer une configuration précise des produits.
• Coordonner l’introduction des changements en cours et tenir à jour les systèmes locaux avec les données de commande de changement.
• Distribuer les informations relatives aux changements à travers les départements et gérer les réunions de note de changement.
• Surveiller et rapporter sur les matériaux obsolètes en collaboration avec le contrôle de la chaîne d’approvisionnement.
• Fournir des détails précis pour les véhicules de projet et soutenir la planification de la production.

Profil Recherché

Pour ce poste, Volvo Cars recherche un candidat avec :

• Un diplôme universitaire ou une formation professionnelle en logistique ou en fabrication.
• Plus de 3 ans d’expérience avec la structure du BOM.
• Une bonne compréhension des processus logistiques, des systèmes de planification, et des principes de fabrication lean.
• De fortes capacités analytiques et un esprit proactif dans la résolution de problèmes.
• Une maîtrise des systèmes ERP, avec une préférence pour SAP.
• Une maîtrise de l’anglais et du slovaque, à l’oral comme à l’écrit.

Le salaire de base pour ce poste débute à 1.850 EUR brut par mois, avec des ajustements possibles en fonction de l’expérience et du niveau de responsabilité.

This team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless coordination of production volumes, material flow, and scheduling across the manufacturing operations of Volvo’s first fully electric vehicle plant in Slovakia.The Production Planning team ensures that Volvo Cars is grounded in operational excellence, enabling the plant to meet its production targets while maintaining flexibility and responsiveness to market demands.What you’ll doAs a Bill of Materials (BOM) Engineer you will be responsible for managing and coordinating product changes or production plans (based on your experience). At Volvo Cars, this role is especially critical in ensuring that production aligns with evolving customer demands, product specifications and operational efficiency goals. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Plant Change order coordinator to manage and support the introduction of running changes in our production plant.

• Analyze and verify the BOM structure, investigate errors, and ensure accurate product configuration for all vehicles built in the plant.
• Manage the introduction of running changes, coordinate with internal departments and update local systems with change order data.
• Distribute change order information across departments, manage the change note meetings, and collaborate with plant departments
• Monitor and report on obsolete materials, working with Supply Chain Control to minimize waste and avoid overstocking.
• Provide detailed breakdowns for project vehicles, support production planning when needed, and help steer building information systems in the plant.

What will you bring?

• University degree or vocational background in logistics or manufacturing preferred.
• +3 years experience with product BOM structure
• Logistics principles, processes, systems
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lead times and capacity planning
• Experience in Lean manufacturing
• Analytical capabilities
• Strong sense of ownership with proactive approach to problem-solving
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with collaboration mindset
• Proficiency in ERP and planning system (preferred SAP).
• Conversational in English and Slovak (written and spoken)

CompensationBase Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 1.850 EUR.

• The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
