L’Ambassade d’Irlande basée à Bratislava recrute un Commercial Officer pour une durée d’un an, avec possibilité d’extension au terme d’une évaluation. Le poste vise à renforcer les liens économiques et commerciaux entre l’Irlande et la Slovaquie.
Responsabilités principales :
- Agir comme point de contact pour les agences gouvernementales irlandaises dans la promotion de l’Irlande comme partenaire commercial.
- Être le premier interlocuteur pour les entreprises irlandaises cherchant une assistance commerciale.
- Établir des relations avec des clients clés pour développer des opportunités commerciales pour des entreprises irlandaises.
- Assurer l’actualisation des conseils commerciaux sur le site web de l’Ambassade et renforcer sa présence sur les réseaux sociaux.
- Développer une expertise dans des secteurs clés du marché.
- Analyser et rapporter sur les tendances économiques et commerciales en Slovaquie.
- Promouvoir les liens touristiques et éducatifs ainsi que la culture irlandaise.
- Organiser des événements de réseautage et préparer des documents pour le représentant de l’Ambassade.
Compétences et qualifications requises :
- Titre universitaire en lien avec le poste.
- Maîtrise de l’anglais et du slovaque.
- Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience professionnelle pertinente.
- Connaissance approfondie de l’économie slovaque.
- Droit de travailler et de vivre sans restriction en Slovaquie.
- Intégrité et compétences en communication.
Informations complémentaires :
Date de début : Novembre ou Décembre 2018 (à convenir)
Durée du contrat : Contrat à durée déterminée d’un an, avec possibilité d’extension.
Horaires de travail : Temps plein (40 heures) avec des horaires parfois flexibles.
Salaire : 1485,87 € par mois (brut), incluant un 13ème mois.
Congés annuels : 25 jours par an pour les employés de plus de 33 ans.

📝 Description du poste : The Embassy of Ireland to the Slovak Republic based in Bratislava, is seeking to recruit a Commercial Officer for a period of one year, with the possibility of an extension based on review. The deadline for applications is 17.00 on Wednesday the 17th of October 2018.The Embassy promotes the interests of Ireland in Slovakia, acts on behalf of the Irish Government in official communications with the Slovak Government and, through its consular work, protects and assists Irish citizens in Slovakia. One of its most important functions is the development of the trade and economic aspects of bilateral relations between Ireland and Slovakia and, in particular, the promotion of Ireland’s economic interests in the Slovak market. The candidate appointed to the position of Commercial Officer will have a crucial role to play in this aspect of the Embassy’s work.Job descriptionThe main responsibilities of the position are to:
- Act as a contact point and support for Irish government agencies in the promotion of Ireland as a business partner
- Act as first point of contact for Irish companies contacting the Embassy for trade related assistance, working in collaboration with the Embassy local team and other Irish Government Departments and State agencies;
- Build relationships with key clients who are seeking to develop commercial opportunities for Irish companies, and facilitate in-country visits of Irish business or public sector contacts;
- Ensure that the commercial advice on the Embassy website is up-to-date and useful, that the commercial content on the site is regularly updated and develop the Embassy’s social media output on our commercial work;
- Develop expertise in key sectors of the market;
analyse and report on economic, trade and financial trends in Slovakia; * promote tourist links, educational links and Irish culture, including outside Bratislava;
- Support the Head of Mission in developing annual Business Plans, risk profiles and reports;
- When required, represent the Mission at seminars, meetings and events with relevance to the commercial work of the Embassy;
- Set up contacts and engage with line Ministries in Bratislava and with the regions;
- Organise networking and other business events;
- Prepare briefing and speaking material for the Ambassador as appropriate;
- Act as liaison between the Embassy and relevant Slovak ministries, agencies, think tanks and NGOs;
- Build the mission’s connections to local media and increase visibility of Embassy and Ireland;
- Strengthen the mission’s social media presence to promote Ireland in Slovakia;
- Build a network of Slovak citizens with ties to Ireland.
Required skills and qualifications
- A 3rd level qualification in a discipline of relevance to the role of Commercial Officer;
- Fluency in English and Slovak;
- At least 3 years’ relevant work experience;
- Strong knowledge of the Slovak economy and commercial landscape;
- The unrestricted legal right to work and live in Slovakia;
- High degree of integrity and trust;
- Effective communication, networking and reporting skills (including understanding, reporting and communicating complex information);
- Initiative and Team Work;
- Good representational, networking and influencing skills;
- Results-orientation and “can-do” attitude;
- good organizational skills;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
- Independent means of transport (including public transport).

The selection process will include job simulation questions and an oral and written language assessment.
