La position d’Ingénieur Logiciel Java se focalise sur le développement et la gestion de systèmes d’exécution de fabrication (MES) au sein d’un environnement agile. Responsabilités Clés
Quelles seront vos missions principales ?
- Exploiter votre formation en informatique pour développer des fonctionnalités essentielles au sein de systèmes ERP ou MES.
- Assurer la responsabilité de bout en bout de l’opération locale des systèmes, en gérant incidents et en garantissant la fiabilité des applications.
- Analyser et interpréter les besoins des utilisateurs en établissant des spécifications techniques conformes aux normes Volvo.
- Conduire la stabilité opérationnelle des livrables numériques critiques.
- Participer aux tests de logiciels, à la mise en œuvre et à la formation de l’équipe de support.
- Faciliter le partage de connaissances et former l’équipe locale pour améliorer ses compétences.
Profil Recherché
Quelles compétences et expériences sont attendues ?
- Expérience avérée en développement Java dans un contexte international, avec maîtrise des outils de collaboration tels qu’Azure DevOps, Git.
- Diplôme universitaire en informatique ou domaine associé, complété par des certifications pertinentes (ex. MS Certified, Oracle Java).
- Compétences en bases de données relationnelles (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) et développement d’applications web (Spring, Angular).
- Connaissances des processus ITIL et de la surveillance d’applications.
- Flexibilité pour s’adapter à des environnements de transformation rapide.
- Compétences en communication en anglais et en slovaque (B2 minimum).
- Capacité à collaborer au sein d’une équipe multiculturelle et à gérer plusieurs priorités simultanément.
- Volonté de voyager occasionnellement en Europe tout en étant basé à Košice.

Rémunération :
Le salaire brut mensuel de base démarre à 2 200 EUR. Ce montant représente une rémunération minimale garantissant les compétences requises pour le poste, le salaire final étant négociable et ajusté selon l’expérience et le niveau de responsabilité du candidat.

- Utilize strong Information Technology mindset and previous experience with agile development practices, building backend functionalities of ERP, MES or a similar system;
- Bear E2E responsibility for local system and application operations, with a strong capability to solve incidents, while ensuring availability, scalability, and reliability of our systems and applications, mainly Java-based Manufacturing Execution System;
- Analyze user requirements and interpret them into digital functions, follow Volvo standards when creating and updating technical specifications;
- Drive operational stability of critical digital deliveries;
- Be responsible for software testing (UAT), rollout plan, deployment, verification, software handover, and information to the factory support team;
- Drive software problem tickets to resolution and ensure respective problem tasks are being executed;
- Share knowledge and experience, and offer training accordingly, to improve the capability and competence of local engineers.
What you’ll bring
- Several years of previous backend Java software engineering experience in an international environment, preferably using collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Git or similar;
- Preferred university education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, as well as additional qualifications in the form of relevant certifications such as: MS Certified AZ/SC, Oracle Java Programmer/Database Design & Programming, and/or similar;
- Working experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server), Container Orchestration (OpenShift), Java web development frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, …), messaging (MQ, Kafka, …), frontend (Angular);
- Understanding of ITIL processes, application operation & monitoring (how to consult logfiles, database statistics, understand middleware and how to look at logs & configurations);
- Understanding of the web technology stack, modern web frameworks such as React or Angular, data models, persistence layers, back-end services (REST API’s, …), caching strategies, and messaging;
- Demonstrated flexibility, being able to work under an organization in a transformation period, or green-field project, but thrive in such a fast-paced environment;
- Good communication skills, conversational in English and Slovak, written and spoken (B2);
- Not only an individual contributor attitude but also a demonstrated ability to work within a multinational team, influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and have the capacity to identify, mitigate, and decide on solutions when facing obstacles in your assignment;
- Passion to build on our future global plant infrastructure IT landscape, eager to learn and grow (themselves and us) using a modern approach to Software Engineering;
- Ability and willingness to occasionally travel within Europe, although based in Košice district, Slovakia.
Compensation DataBase Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 2.200 EUR.
- The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
